L. Martin: I was hesitant about starting this but I must say I could not put it down. Great storyline and characters. I love that the heroine was no insure weak character who couldn’t make up her mind. Did she have insecurities. Yes at times but was not insecure. And any love scenes were not sappy and drawn out. Thank goodness. When they did happen it was brief and relative to the story but didn’t dominate the plot. I really recommend this. The action in it will leave you breathless

samantha: I loved this story even more than the trilogy about the Olympus academy. However, how is there a Pandora in the second trilogy, and also one in Boreas' home that Lyssa rescued? Are they the same girl? Very well crafted. One drawback is lack of editing and proofreading. It is distracting in the Olympus Academy triology in particular. In this book, it was less noticeable. But small errors were still present. I recommend tighter editing.

Kindle Customer: Lyssa, daughter of Hercules, is in the running for the Immortality Trials. 12 trials in the 12 realms of the main Gods. The crew that wins the most trials will be immortal.
We get several perspectives in this adventure.
Lots of intense fighting, some gore, mature audience recommended. Also some possible triggers for victims of abuse.

Kindle Customer: This set of books cover so much. Different story about Hercules. I read the whole set in a week. Reading about the different stories about what the terms had to grow through at such young lives. The lives they meet and loose. Family that's not bad up of blood relations but who they have been through such hard ships with. Enjoyable books. Didn't want to put it down.

Kindle Customer: Greek mythology, swashbuckling adventures, mythical creatures, murder revenge and a love story thrown in for good measure. I thoroughly enjoyed these books and especially the fact that each book ride seamlessly into the next without recapping the storyline so far. First books I've read from this author and needless to say i will be reading more. Great for young adults with very little bad language and the love scenes are implied rather than graphically recounted.

purpleskye: I came to this book after I read ‘The Power of Hades’ which I loved but only the first book was available so I thought I’d try another book by the same author. This collection covers all 4 books in the series. Had I bought and read just the first book I don’t know if I would have continued reading the others. It took about a third of the way through this collection before I started to enjoy it. Unlike ‘The Power of Hades’ which is told from a first person perspective, this series is told from the perspectives from 5 different characters which initially is not only confusing but frustrating. You feel like you are just getting into the story and getting to know a character when you are whipped away to view things from another characters perspective. Not only that but the main character Lyssa takes a while to warm to. She channels her rage to give her power, but anger, although entitled, is not an attractive quality and she often comes across as rude and patronising and in the beginning it’s hard to like her.
It might take a while to get into, but it’s a story that gets better the more you read. I still prefer The Power of Hades’ for the story and...
