Dana: I'm so fussy with books and this series sat
dormant in my tbr list for TOO LONG.
It's not often I find a series I can really sink my teeth into and this is just perfection ❤️
The world building, the story, the characters and the plot twists!! There's so much room in this universe and I would love to read more stories from orea/annwyn. Beautiful books and well worth the sleepless nights 😂

Ami MAmi M: That ending 🤯
As always, Auren's internal dialogue and the plot itself were magnificent.
Difficult and frustrating at times, definitely heartwrenching but also hopeful, satisfying, and edge of your seat stuff.
The way emotional manipulation and abuse are portrayed in this series is out of this world. Raven is such a talented writer.
I devoured every word on every page and couldn’t put the books down, I genuinely can’t recommend The Plated Prisoner series enough.
Now, onto book 4!

cla: " The eyes of liars are tricky things. They can show you what you want to see without ever reflecting the truth"

Kelly Morris: I have to say that Book 1 didn’t impress me but I stuck with it bc I am caught up on all my other reading. It was slow and seemed like a lot of fluff. I feel like it should have been merged with book 2. But then Book2 had a ton of action and the storyline kept getting better. I throughly enjoyed the 4 POV especially RIPs in this story line. I love the main character and I am looking forward to the 4th book.

Kimberly RN: If you thought book 2 finally had some major plot twists, turns and additions…book 3 will suck you in in an instant! I could NOT put this book down! I was either reading when I could or listening with audible when I couldn’t 👍🏻. Plus this book finally had some loveable, lustfull and erotic scenes 😳👍🏻 SUPER SEXY!!! This series is a must read, so if you haven’t started it, DO, or if you lost interest in books 1 and/or 2, pick the series back up…you won’t regret it!!!

S Payne: I have been enjoying this series so much, I don’t know if it’s just excellent timing for this type of book for me right now but I have been smashing through the books.
‘Gleam’ picks up where ‘Glint’ left off but we learn so much more about the characters and Auren’s background. The pace felt a bit slower in this one but we have a lot of details and the history we learn about Midas was a stroke of genius that I didn't see coming. I still wasn’t bothered about Queen Malina's chapters but I liked the introduction of another Queen and learning about her powers. I think she’ll have a bigger part to play in the next book.
I think these books are well written and this surprised me for the genre. The characters are interesting and the steamy scenes are not over the top or too often but they are steamy. I love it when a totally fantasy genre with magic and powers is written with such good characters that they feel real and you could actually believe this is happening.
Overall, a great continuation in the series (my favourite so far) and I will move on to ‘Glow’ next before I have to wait 6 months for ‘Gold’ to be released. Sob.

Jenal Hall: "But I'll be the villain for you. Not to you."
That's all you need for me to tell you to go read this series. If I thought the first two books in the Plated Prisoner series had me hooked then this was had me in a chokehold. The character development continues in this book especially for Auren, but I also enjoyed getting more time with the Wrath. They're my fave.
The spice level in this one is *chefs kiss* Slade is a beautifully written and just a perfect character. I love my own man, but all our partners need to be more like Slade. I'll leave it at that to not spoil all the fun.
The ending had me internally screaming as I read it. Another cliffhanger that had me downloading the 4th book as soon as I finished this one. I really adore Raven Kennedy's descriptive and magical writing. Her writing truly transports you to Orea.
If you haven't started this series yet and you enjoying morally gray characters, beautifully written spicy scenes and being transported to a new world each time you pick up your book then please start this series. This book is the best out of the series so far. Five beautiful gilded stars for this spellbinding book.

Fanni: Oh my, goodness!!!!!!
This series has definitely grown on me in the past few days. I can't seem to put it down!
And this part? Gleam? It was a reckoning!
Auren's story and emotional and character growth are subtle yet all-consuming throughout the series. In this book, she finally leaps for freedom!
The author perfectly captured her journey! From her horrible childhood to her captive years as Midas's pet slowly withering away and then seeing freedom and finding unconditional love and care she had never experienced before. All of the trauma, physical and emotional, leads her to finally be who she needs to be and take something she wants for herself.
I was amazed how this story pulled me in. It was long, and maybe some parts were a bit too slow, but in the end, it all led to something extraordinary.
The majority of the story was told from Auren's POV, which I loved, but like in the last book, we had some other POV's sprinkled in.
I loved the young Auren POV's telling a little bit about her struggles before she met Midas. It provided a nice backstory and showed how she became the frightened pet happily entering her cage.

Tales from the Dragon's Lair: After having read the second book in the series, I immediately had to read this one. And I am glad to say I liked book three even more! As with the two previous books, there were many plot twists and reveals that I did not see coming. I really liked the blossoming romance as well as the new characters that were introduced. Highly recommended!

Erica: Not gunna lie, book one was disappointing to the point that I almost didn’t keep reading. Talk about a slow build. Book 2 was better. Book 3 has been the best so far. I understand the world building, laying the groundwork for the story, but damn if this wasn’t the slowest build ever. I liked this book, I really did, but having to trudge through the rest to get to this has been difficult. I feel like the first 2 books should’ve been combined into one.
