Jennifer L. MeyerJennifer L. Meyer: Hades and Persephone are finally married! Demeter is just as bad as ever with a never-ending crippling snow storm she's unleashed. Olympians don't want Hades and Persephone together. I love Hermes again in this book! This ends on another cliffhanger, and because of what happened at the end, I can't wait to see Persephone kick some butt in the next book!!

Brenda DeJesus: I love where the story of Hades and persephone is going. I can't wait for the next book and the war that will come as the Titans are released in the next book, A Touch of Chaos.

Marcia Esders: I’m very rarely at a loss for words, but after the events leading to the end of this installment, I’m afraid I can’t even guess what will come next. The characters are so well written, and New Athens is so well described that it feels like I am witnessing these events in person. On to the next…

Maryann Troche: This is book three and I am so infatuated with this story wrapped around what is known about mythology that takes place on earth amongst mortals in real time. Such a great way to to interact the mythology characters alive today living and working amongst us humans. I want to do nothing except devour all these books as quickly as possible!! They are excellent and I can’t get enough!!
This book is packed with nonstop action! Fights breakout amongst the Gods and Goddesses as well as against the mortals. Hades and Persephone learn to let go of all they knew from their past, to discover what it takes to work together today, which is the communication of no secrets and no lies. Persephone learns who she really is from within and all she’s capable of by believing in herself and to stop fear from getting in her way.
Hades and Persephone learn the meaning of genuine love and everything that it entails to create a happy life forever! Of course, those spicy sex scenes sure aren’t hurting that life.
🫣🤫😔
Now onto book four!! I can’t wait to read what happens next!!! If you’re a fan of mythology, I highly recommend all these books to you by Raven St....

Noemie Mayer: i’m gonna be honest, it took me a lot to get through this book. while the first book in the series was an easy read, the second was harder and the third felt a bit like a chore. it just didn’t hold my interest as much anymore and i was ready to move on to something else, but i kept reading because i wanted to know how this was going to end.
one thing i’m gonna say is that there was just too many spicy scenes. it was like every 10 pages and in the most random moments. and as many of those scenes there are, i still always felt like the smut scenes went by too fast and weren’t kinky enough for a book this spicy.
persephone was a lot more confident and less annoying in this one so that was good! her trauma, on the other hand, was badly handled, which is why i still wonder why they even had to bring this plot into the story. hades, who i loved in the first book in particular as a morally gray character, was reduced to mostly being just in love with persephone and wanting to sleep with her all the time, which is sad because i love him. as always, i loved the side characters, especially hermes, he’s the truly the best.
the summary of this book promised war...

JT: This book seemed to fix all the issues I had with book 2 and Persephone navigating her grief felt very, very relatable. Any mention of Lexa made my heart hurt but I feel like Scarlett really did this part of the story justice🫶🏼
Again, Hades is still dreamy. I think he’s great and whilst he is overprotective and possessive, I like it. It’s just enough without being unbearable in my opinion!
Very excited to see how this story wraps up and how Persephone reacts to the events of the last few chapters. I hope she is a force to be reckoned with 😌

Jessica Oltersdorf: After the second book was very boring, I am glad that this book picked up the pace again, as I love the characters Hades and Persephone a lot.
Compared to the first one, it is still weaker though and it is again because of the pacing of the plot..
What I noticed while thinking on it a bit, is that in the first book the story was structured and paced very good. And starting with the second book that got lost somehow. As again we do not start this book where we left off and rather have to read 2/3s of it to even get to that point, which is frustrating to me. Because you can't end a book on a cliffhanger and then do not address it at all, like it didn't happen, especially not if you write it in the blurb like it is going to be the main conflict.
And do not misunderstand me, I don't mind if the main conflict changes throughout the story. Just I was looking forward to finally meeting all the Olympian gods of this world and seeing how Persephone would handle it and how she would interact with her mother. And then we do not meet any Olympian until way after the halfway-point of the book.
After the first third I was so confused I thought I had read the blurb...

Laren Williamson: I felt this was another great addition to a series I already love!
Everything we’ve seen in the books so far has shown character growth and the seperate povs are fantastic. I love the author’s explanation of inspiration from each myth at the end.
