Robert Megee: I could not find uTranslate in the play store for my android phone. I'm not sure if it got hijacked or what, but when I used the Q code that came with the translator it downloaded software called iTranslate. The installation guide said to download uTranslate. One thing that bothers me is that this software requires almost a lot of phone permissions to function. Denying it even one kept it from working. The software works at least. Another thing that I consider poor is the font of the installation guide. It required the use of a magnifying glass to read. Very small print. A small device. It fits easily in my pocket next to my phone so it is readily available for use. One final thing. If it is a bit noisy, such as if music is playing, it didn't do so well at understanding what I spoke. For the price, it is something that I would buy again.
I don't know who is doing the translation for this device but it has been wrong for several phrases. For instance "Vous avez dit quoi" should translate to "what did you say" but this device translates it to "i beg your pardon"

Jeremie: It struggled to connect properly with my phone motorola e5 play). It really needs a phone that is more powerful than this E5 play. After turning off almost every single running process on my phone, it worked pretty well. (On a good 4 or 5 bar LTE network. It works offline but only after you have downloaded dictionaries. It consumes a lot of recourses on your phone so have a current good phone with at least 4gb of RAM. Or don't bother buying it. I sent it back and instead upgraded my phone. I use google translate and it works fine. Still good product, just didn't like having to carry phone and translator when phone will do both. Was hard to pair properly too!!!!!!!
