Portable Instant Language Translator Device - Translate On-the-Go!

Anna: It works well and is easy to use as a verbal translator. Translating pictures is a little more complicated. It is better than google translator. Offline mode works as expected and helps a lot in places without Wi-Fi which is most places we will go to. I used it in restaurants to order dishes, in supermarket for grocery, in bus etc... With the device in hand, I would like to travel all over places in the world. The only reason I would give it 4 stars because of very small device. But the battery didn't last long at all in active translation mode it gave us only about 1.5 hours before recharge. If it's just turned on but not doing anything might last for about 12 hours so don't forget to charge it every day. I still like it overall.

Joseph: Make sure you have use of Wi-Fi wherever you go. The off-line works, but having Wi-Fi is better I love this little gadget, a very necessary gadget

aireuke: I got this for my mom because it could translate offline. It is not often that you are traveling and can connect this thing to the internet. I downloaded the packages for her and we tried it at a restaurant so she could order by herself. But it will not translate pictures if not connected to the internet, it will translate voice, but not pictures. Bummer, she may need translate more important signs or documents at customs and she won't be able to. I would not buy this thing again and I would not recommend because of this.

jonathan smuck: This device is really cool. We went to German for vacation and it helped out alot. I enjoyed the scan a picture option which was helpful for menus and signs. I will say offline mode is not great it wasn't helpful at all when it was offline. It still translated but the scan option didn't work and some of the translation was messed up. But to my biggest complaint is that there is limited languages only like 16 or so

Gary Grella: I had to copy AND expand the booklet that came with it . The print was so extremely tiny that i couldn't read it at all . So, i blew up the booklet . Then the instructions were somewhat vague . But i did figure it all out . The device works well . And has good volume . It was a little difficult navigating the unit as i was learning it . But i did manage . It only works when you're near your WiFi . Once you get used to it , you like it . The photo translator does not seem to work . But i don't need that anyway .
AFTER i read the instructions , i found that it can work in a "paired" capacity with another unit. If i had known that before , i would have bought two . That way , my guest from Europe could hold one while i enter some languae for the machine to translate. And my guest could have held his own to both read and hear my comments (translated) and also back at me .

Ciccio: Does not work well without wifi network. Very frustrating when travelling and no wifi! Not good for translating, even with offline language download package, it is very limited with simple words, not accurate and very slow. Brought it to Italy to speak with in-laws and was disappointed with it! Google translator is free and works much better!
