David: This back up camera could possibly save your marriage.

I can back up to the car directly to the camper all by myself without any advice from my wife. On my SUV I took the license plate, camera and tilt it down to look at the ball on the hitch. This makes it extremely easy to line up the car with the trailer and hitch ball. My camper is a cargo trailer conversion and it’s easy to see by the mirrors down the side of the trailer for people passing you, but you’re unable to see the cars behind you especially when they’re close. So I mounted RV camera above the rear door on the trailer. Now I now see cars not only coming up directly behind me, but even as they come up on the side of me, which makes it much safer for driving the trailer. I’ve had this unit about 2 1/2 years and after your period of time the RV camera started to get hazy I called customer service left a message and they texted right back to me. They were very very helpful they replaced the camera with no problems. I just sent him a picture of the haziness, and they went ahead and gave me a new camera system. B B.B B.: This camera fits with what I was wanting: a camera that I would be able to monitor traffic behind me as well as being useful in assisting backing up while at the campground. As you can see from the picture, I removed the center clearance light and used the existing hole to route the cable. I made an aluminum plate to cover and seal the hole.
In order to hide the cable, I routed through the rear storage cabinet, under the top molding, through the cupboards and down the sink vent pipe into the under bedroom storage. From there it went out to where the trailer wiring exits the 5th wheel hitch box. The only problem that I encountered was that the longest cable was about 10-12ft shorter than I needed. I just added the intermediate length cable to reach where the 5th wheel cable hookup point is located. So far the camera is working well and I can't wait to hit the road this summer to get some real life experience with this device. The installation went very well and was quite easy. My only issue was that maybe one more 15' extension would help in situations where routing the cable takes a bit more of a circuitous route.

RikRik: Biggest reason to buy THIS system is the seller. Crazy good service. I asked for an extra camera (free promotion?), and they verified everything else was fine. They mailed extra parts, and called several times with latest shipping and tracking info.
Now to the hardware.... Large screen with 2 inputs. Switches automatically to 2nd input when I go into reverse, or will automatically turn on the screen if set to off. Pretty smart.
The other camera can be used for various things. I have one in my horse trailer above the divider to make sure all is good back there. The wide angle lens sees it all and is very clear. Most would put it as a rear view for the trailer of course.
Easy to disable the bright white camera lights which I did to use the license plate camera as a rear view mirror. Didn't want it on upsetting drivers behind me and I have bright LED backing lights already It's not great at night as headlights tend to show as big white areas with no detail. But, for hitching, it's GREAT. Way better than my old one.
Another great thing, the kit comes with 3 long cables for almost any run length, and the seller would sell or send more.

KevinKevin: I cannot express how glad I am I installed these cameras! Having a camera on the back of a camper is a MUST! It makes it SO much easier to back it up to park, and even when driving to see what's behind you. The camera on the vehicle is great too as you can line up the hitch and ball on your own! I LOVE it!

The install was a little tricky but that was mainly because of the vehicle, and trying to find a way to get through the firewall was tougher than I had hoped, but once the wires were run, the rest of the setup was a breeze (though, I recommend a fuse tap if you're going to hardwire it).

I did have quality issues with the first mount that they sent, and I was worried that the display would fall and get damaged, but the product support people were awesome and sent me a replacement fast! I can't say anything negative about this system so far. I already took it on a long haul trip and it worked all the way.

Values H. Privacy: I needed a backup cam system that I could use on my 21' long crew cab pickup truck, both when trailerless, and when towing my 16' trailer with a small backhoe. The Rohent R4 system more than meets my needs, at a very reasonable price. The large display screen is very clear with the two included cameras (one is in a license frame mount, the other is a ~2" cubical enclosure). There are two view angle settings: the widest angle gives a very wide field of view with a fair amount of "fisheye" distortion, such that a power line across the road will appear to be slightly zig-zag; the other still has adequate FOV with much less distortion. The system comes with three cables of various lengths (see item description). When computing whether or not those lengths are adequate, don't forget that there is a cable on the display itself that adds a few feet. I elected to use the license plate mount cam permanently on my pickup, hook up the longest cable for my trailer. and leave that and the 2nd cam coiled up in a zip lock bag behind my rear seat so I can deploy it quickly when needed. I have not yet tested the night vision in use, but I did get a pretty well lit picture from that cam in its bag...
