Christi V: I was hoping it would extend the WiFi a bit more than it does. Have 2 products connected and one is the doorbell so we would have it notify us with the chimes but the doorbell would actually have better WiFi signal directly connected to the router or may get separate box to put closer for it to have the doorbell chimes. The other is one of the Pro floodlight cameras because it wasn’t getting as good of WiFi signal and it did boost it just enough to work.

Dao Jonez: I mainly bought the Chime Pro to use as a WiFi extender more than to hear chimes itself. I’ve learned when it comes to Ring products, they are VERY specific to compatibility with different routers including extenders. I’ve seen Amazon and Ring’s advertisements of the eero extenders, etc but the Chime Pro is probably the best option for maximizing your internet connection to your Ring cameras/products. I’d rather deal with just the 2.4 GHz connection of the Chime Pro than an extender that keeps switching back & forth between 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz, confusing my devices connection to my router. It’s like the heavens opened up for my Cam Spotlight Pro and Floodlight when I switched from my Netgear extender to the Chime Pro. They are at a bit of distance from my router that’s kind of limited to the area it covers in my house. When I set up my Chime Pro and I connected by Spotlight & Floodlight cameras, they updated almost immediately and they are working VERY well! All the other bells & whistles of this product work well. The nightlight is a nice addition as well as being able to hear when someone rings the doorbell, even though I still get the alerts on my phone....

Brian Galicki: UPDATE: Ring support called after I left this review and had me try like 5 things. The last one worked. They need to put these instructions in the box. I got all my devices to work and I am happy! Still only 4 stars because of all the trouble, but the devices work great.

I bought two Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pros and installed them. The devices said they could not connect to my wireless network because the signal was too weak. So, I bought two of these Chime Pro things. I have a new Mesh network that is powerful enough to reach a TV that is outside. I have an existing Ring stick up cam and Ring doorbell that work fine on the same wireless network. The Chime Pros can't connect to the network either, even though the signal strength for my Ring doorbell and Stick Up Cam is fine. So now I have 4 Ring devices that don't work. I moved the Chime Pros right next to the router and they still said the signal strength was too weak. I wish I had read the other reviews and tested these Floodlight Cams before I installed them. Reddit has a big thread about how these products don't work. I called support yesterday morning and I have yet to hear back. This is a mess. I...
