Tb320: These devices would have saved me a lot of time and money had I used them BEFORE the water drain pan from my attic HVAC unit leaked. They appear to be of high quality. They set up and tested perfectly. I bought 3 of them for the two HVAC units in the attic and one for a water heater in the attic. They all have drain pans but one failed. So, better safe than sorry. I love that the Ring Hub listens to them and notifies me via voice that water is detected. We live in NE Florida so don't get much weather cold enough to use the freeze warning feature, but good to have as there are lots of pipes up there.

Jake: Purchased to keep an eye on my windows during heavy rain, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. With heavy rainfall in my area during summer, I’ve often worried about water seeping in through my windows and cause damage to my interior. This tool detects splashes and works great with Ring base station to notify me so I can take action in time.

Adam G: I haven’t had an opportunity to test them, but I feel as though they offer great peace of mind. The idea of a water leak causes me great concern.

busymom317: Great gadget to have to detect for leaks in the basement or other places. Its tied into my ring app which was easy to install and easy to monitor.

ADGrat: I can’t keep batteries in this thing. Putting expensive Energizer Lithium cells and dead in less than a week. I have a super strong wifi network and the location is room temperature. Did everything recommended and even adjusted the settings. I give up.

Ring representative called me and assisted in correcting the issue. Proactive company wanting to make things right. Reset the sensor and monitoring. If the issue gets fully rectified I will change to 5 stars.

David & Rachel: First I'll start by saying they work, and they work well. I've tested them several times and notifications are quick and accurate. From that standpoint, they're great.

Now on to what I consider a flaw of these sensors. You can't create any routines in the Alexa app using these sensors. They simply don't show up to create the routine. There are blogs are there and forums where this has been requested as an add, but some go back as far as 2 years, so I'd say it's unlikely they add the feature. You'd think with them both being Amazon's product this would be a given, but it's not. So if you actually want to use these sensors to create a routine, say make an announcement on all your alexa devices when water is detected, you can't do it. Or, if you want to control a smart water valve to shut off your water main when a leak is detected, you can't do it. These are simply just monitors and that's it. So if thats what you're looking for, they'll do just fine. If you want some control using them, I'd say look elsewhere, at least for now.

brandon: Great sensor! Gives me piece of mind beside my sump pump. Only negative is it detects low temperature all the time. It’s placed in my cold cellar. I don’t need the temperature warnings.
