Worse yet, when attempting to return, Amazon sends me to Lava Lamps for seller support. I called. Lava Lamps does not sell this item. It gets better. When contacting customer support, I am sent a link. Great. No, not great. It instructs me to contact the seller at the same number. SEND MY MONEY BACK!

Roger M. Woodbury: This is my second Lava antenna. The first one was purchased in 2011 and worked terrifically until the wear and tear of Maine summers and winters finally made some of the plastic pieces break. I had added a second television to the antenna and the second tv at the end of a pretty long cable didn't get the reception that the primary tv did. Now with the new Lava antenna our over air reception at both tv's is truly amazing. We get ALL the broadcast stations in Maine and before we could only get half the channels that we get now. I was amazed at the improvements made in this brand since the last antenna ten years ago. This is well worth the price and I highly recommend it. Our antenna is mounted on a six foot mast mounted on the peak of the roof. The distance from the antenna to the first television is 45 feet and from there to the second television the signal travels through the RG6 cable approximately 65 feet.

Doug Poliing: It appears cheaply made actually thought about sending it back. Decided to assemble anyway and see the reception. Worked perfect! I installed in the attic so no weather issues and don't anticipate using the rotation. It should have an indicator to show direction. If you cant see it, you don't know which way its pointing. I have 2 televisions hooked to it and the built-in amplifier does its job well. Much better reception than the flat inside antenna I was using. Couldn't be happier with the way it works. But it does look like cheap China junk. For the price I recommend.

Valerie: We live in a rural setting 60 miles or more from nearest TV station. Was using an RCA indoor antenna that got about 6 channels, but was unreliable. We now get 15 channels with remarkable clarity. Using the rotation when a signal is choppy, you can get any of the channels to come in clear. But sometimes you don't even need to do that and they all come in fine.
IMPORTANT FIX FOR THE REMOTE: the remote did not work AT ALL. I got to looking at it and see that there is a flaw in the design, the metal contact for one of the batteries kind of tucked into the plastic, I used a pointed item to move the metal around and out to be able to make contact and it works fine now. I imagine many people would have this problem if they have not fixed the plastic mold of the remote to allow battery contact.
We highly recommend this antenna!
