Boost Your TV Signal with a High-Definition Outdoor Digital Antenna

Amazon Customer: Since Spectrum would no longer work with me to reduce my monthly cable bill (the agent said I was already getting their lowest priced package), I told the agent to cancel my cable subscription and I would just keep my internet. As soon as I hung up, I researched digital antennas on Amazon and found this “PBD WA-2608 Digital Amplified Outdoor HD TV Antenna.” It arrived within two days. It was so easy to put together. Before I installed it on my roof, I connected the antenna to the remote box (power source). I wanted to make sure it was getting power through the coaxal connections to rotate the antenna. It worked flawlessly. After installing the antenna on my roof, I ran the 40 foot coaxal down the side of the house and through an exterior wall into the living room. After connecting the coaxal to the remote box and TV, I selected “scan channels” on my TV. When it was finished scanning, I was shocked to see it found nearly 100 digital channels. Wow. I had no idea there were so many over-the-air channels in my area (south central Texas). It’s been a little over a month since I installed the antenna and I am very, very happy with it. It’s saving me a lot of money each month...

Trealyum: Wow - other than climbing on roof to mount antenna to chimney and running cable down siding, installation was simple. The instructions were very thorough. I engaged customer service on UHF enhancer and cable questions - Bill (customer service) was extraordinarily responsive and helpful - answered all my questions and provided link to detailed map of channel directions, strength, frequency etc. I had tried a couple indoor antennas previously and was disappointed. I was unable to get the channels I wanted (CBS, ABC, NBC, Fox...). Now I get them all ....in HD! I wish there had been an option to get a different color cable - the cable that comes with was black which would have been cosmetically unattractive on white siding. So, I bought white RG-6 on my own (though it did not have the weather sealing sleeve that came with the black - I could not transfer so used shrink tape and some caulk to seal against weather). All in all the buying experience and the resultant access to over 30 OTA (over the air) channels far exceeded my expectations. And, importantly, my wife is VERY happy. I can watch my favorite (local) sports teams without paying $$$ for streaming service...and my wife can...

ECSI: I have this Installed in my attic, it detects 74 local OTA channels, I was only interested in 5 of them so that’s a bonus. I deducted one star because there is no way to determine where the antenna is pointed without actually seeing the antenna and the rotation is random. When you press the button it turns in a random direction, when you stop and press it again, it is also random instead of turning the opposite direction. Even if it did turn in the opposite direction with each press of the button, it is difficult to tune in without line of site of the antenna or a tuning meter. If there was a 360° indicator showing where the antenna is pointed and clockwise/counterclockwise rotation buttons or even a dial, I’d give it 5 ⭐️. All that being said, once the antenna is pointed in the correct direction, it works very well for my needs.
