G Smit DIY Guy: I put this on my roof and picks up channels for 60 miles but has to point in the direction of the channel tower so if you want more channels you should get one with a remote to turn it. Works good for me others maybe not so much

Joe-hio: Pulls in most channels very well, one is still a bit wonky. Assembly needed a couple of close looks at the diagram but not too hard. Hardware was nice and big compared to a lot of the tiny bolts some stuff comes with. Definitely recommend an extra hand when mounting. They give you the stuff for a good solid outdoor installation.

giggitygiggity: We're in Montreal and we're picking up stations from Burlington Vermont. We installed it on the roof of our three story building. It was pretty easy to assemble and install. It's sturdy and we're getting crystal clear signals, both from the nearby VHF and the distant UHF. We went from about 7 channels with 1 or 2 intermittent ones, to a whopping 29 channels (that's including the "sub-channels"). Very happy with the purchase so far. Looking forward to seeing how it holds up in the Montreal winter.

John Charles: I've tried several antennas and none have worked as good as this one. It was relatively easy to assemble, but does have one minor flaw, the dipole portion of the antenna requires you to attach it on the mount pole separately. That done, it brings in channels that other antennas didn't. They are good quality, don't pixelate and have good sound. Overall a good purchase

Aussie Dave: The Antenna was stuck to a window and brought in a good number of channels. For most channels the signal was strong and mostly without pixelation. Unfortunately the channel that I did want ie the ABC channel was not picked up even though it was well within the 55+KM range.

Mostly the antenna was pretty good

Mystery: You will get clearer or more channels if you aim the front of antenna in direction of transmitter for channels you want.

semileptonic: Update 2 June 2023: Bought a second antenna. The intent is to receive stations in different directions using 2 antennas. Lengths of all coaxial cables were matched. Placing #2 perpendicular to #1 caused stations to drop out, assumed to be multi-path issues. Clearing obstacles in the attic helped reception for UHF channels, VHF is less sensitive to line of sight issues such as obstacles. Placing the antennas along the same line of sight but antiparallel did not create station dropouts, but did not pick up any additional stations with the possible exception of Channel 10 Philadelphia at 68 miles (so far just a hint). Channel 10 is approximately opposite in direction to the Baltimore towers but much further. When the 2nd antenna was perpendicular pointing SE, a few Salisbury, Maryland low power stations occasionally appeared. No Dover, Delaware stations showed up. Channel 7 DC at 56 miles will appear on occasion, as well as on occasion Channel 32 (Howard University). The usable range of this antenna in the attic (no insulation above the floor, siding and shingle roof) is about 40 miles but dependent on season (leaves), weather conditions, time of day, day of the week, The variation...

Amazon Customer: The 2V antenna was initially placed indoors next to the tv. . Even though the Mount-Royal mountain is in the pathway of certain US transmitters preventing me from getting those channels, I was able to receive 10 local channels and 3 US channels situated at a 55 mile distance to the south, and the image was crystal clear . Then I had the antenna installed on the roof combined to a Channel Master CM-7777HD TV Antenna Amplifier, on low gain, now I have a total of 15 US channels in addition to the 10 local ones and reception for the majority is excellent. After one year of use, I am quite satisfied, but decided to upgrade to the 4V in order get a more stable picture on the on the channels with a weaker signal. The 4V was installed in the exact same location as the 2V by a professional installer on the roof and it basically lost all the US channels. For some reason the 2V greatly outperformed the 4V, therefore the 2V was placed back on the roof and the 4V sent back. Even the installer had no clear explanation as to why the 4V was unable to perform as well as the 2V, either it was defective or it captured more noise from the surrounding cell towers and completely lost the weaker signals.

Nominalis: I was a bit disappointed that the Antennas Direct Clearstream 4V antenna didn't recieve any more channels than my older, much cheaper antenna. But I soon realized that the channels were far more stable and less affected by bad weather. The assembly instructions were much better than most until I got around to attaching the VHF antenna which doesn't "click" into place so I had to use some zip-ties to attach it. But it turns-out that the VHF antenna is of no use for receiving digital HD channels in Canada. So I bypassed it and connected the coaxial cable directly to the main UHF antenna feed and got an even stronger signal. Then I tried wiping some conductive get onto the coaxial terminals and the signal strength increased again. 30+ channels on Southern Vancouver Island, 24 worth watching.

I bought this item as an Amazon Warehouse Deal. It was listed as "used" and "repackaged". It was obvious that the antenna had never been assembled and that all of the parts were included and in their original plastic bags. Only the cardboard box was not original. So I got it for less than half-price through buying it as a Warehouse Deal. Overall, a very good buy.

Mark Szorady: In my previous review of the  Mohu Leaf Ultimate Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna , I commented on how I was located in a complete dead zone for signal (sitting in a valley surrounded by acres of trees in the middle of a woods). The Mohu Leaf brought in two digital channels which demonstrated the promise of getting more signal if I went with an outdoor antenna.

I considered purchasing the Mohu Sky, but had my doubts as to its range. Plus the folks at Mohu told me it had to be placed as high as possible. The highest I can set an outdoor antenna, right now, is approximately 20 feet.

I decided to go with the Clearstream 2V. I set this up on the roof of a ranch house on a mast strapped to the chimney. This gives me the 20 foot height.

Using TVFool.com, I pointed the antenna towards Youngstown, Ohio towers (40 miles SSE). My initial scan brought in 14 digital channels. Amazing reception for an antenna this small! Ten channels are from Youngstown, while 4 channels originate in Cleveland. I'm receiving CBS, Fox, ABC, and PBS out of Youngstown. The fringe channel out of Cleveland is WVIZ (PBS). It's spotty and not at all as rock solid as I'd like (That tower is...
