Gary Tracy: Getting on the roof is the most difficult part. Assembly was pretty easy. Not getting as many channels as I had hoped, but I got the one I wanted for the football games. Range appears to be about 50 miles for a decent quality picture. We have a lot of trees and live in a low area. Rotator has to have someone outside to say when to stop, other than that its a decent antenna.

Joseph Kwiatkowski: I purchased this in June 2023 and less than three months later in Sept 2023 the remote no longer works. How can I get a replacement remote control for the unit?

Smoaky: I purchased this antenna in September 2020. I did not install it until about a year later. I waited until we ‎were fully fed up with the TV Cable service continually increasing their prices and we finally cut the ‎cable. It was quite easy to install. I purchased an antenna mast from Home Depot and the installation ‎was very easy. When we connected the TV to the antenna, I was absolutely astonished at the great ‎picture quality. The picture quality from the antenna is every bit as good as, if not better than the cable ‎company’s picture quality. We get excellent reception from all the local stations. I occasionally need to ‎rotate the antenna a bit to improve reception. That is as easy as pressing the button on the remote. I ‎highly recommend cutting the cable and purchasing this antenna.‎ We have been using it for two years now, with no problems.

WLM905: It was fairly easy to put together but not much gain. Rotation feature is useless unless the antenna is in view. It moves fast and the direction ends up in the wrong angle, hard to fine tune a station. I ended up manually pointing it and not using the rotation feature.

Tinel: Je capte seulement 1 canal, c'est le 11, radio Canada, mais c'est OK, je suis dans un secteur montagneux, donc satisfait dans l'ensemble

Dave: I am telecommunications electronics engineer so I know a bid about antennas. This a standard design uni-directional (Yagi) antenna that has five UHF tuned elements to capture UHF off air digital TV signals from TV broadcasting towers.

I am quite impressed with the quality of the materials and the build itself. They state in there specs that the antenna has a 108db gain which means that each element is around 20db gain individually. Just a bit of physics. 6db in a doubling in signal so this antenna has the capability of taking a comparatively weak signal and amplifying it very well. The signal amplifier that it uses also seems to do an effective job of filtering out other signal "noise" that the antenna would be picking up.
My antenna is installed about 40 miles from the closest tower with all three towers being within a 50 mile distance. The signal strength is good and none of the five off air channels that are being broadcast freeze or drop off.

The directional rotation control is a bit of a pain as you have to rotate the antenna one full revolution and allow it to come to a full stop before it will change it's rotation direction. Having the rotation directional...

Amazon Customer: Purchaced this antenna to replace my old antenna. Based on the reviews I anticipated good reception. I live in a elevated area on the Niagara Escarpment and mounted this unit on my old pole attached to my chimney. My previous antenna brought in about 30 channels with various quality of reception. I have unobstructed reception and the new unit picked up 50 channels, all with a clear crisp picture. Mind you some are duplicate channels but the clear crisp reception is significantly better than my old antenna. Assembly was easy. The unit does seem cheaply made with a lot of plastic so time will tell if it holds up. Having said that my old unit was of similar quality and lasted 20 plus years. I easily pull in stations from Toronto and Buffalo. When I tested the connection in the house the unit picked up about 18 channels. Bottom line is the unit allows very good reception and picture quality especially if you have good elevation and unobstructed signal. I have yet to try the remote for changing direction as all channels currently have great picture quality and I knew which direction to point the antenna from my previous antenna. I am very pleased with the picture quality and would...

CJRun: Assembly and installation go well, assuming you are used to garbled language in instructions. The coaxial cable attachment comes with a boot to cover the junction with the antenna base that you will never be able to properly place or seal, without a heat gun. Especially on a roof. For me, I have the choice of taking the antenna down, or taking a heat gun up. I will choose the latter, because I will remove the coax from the box which is white, (saving that for in the house), and run black coax on the exterior. I need a heat gun anyway, for other projects. But for you, maybe the cable being white and only 40 ft is not an issue and you have no other need for a heat gun. Assemble the antenna in the comfortable indoors, then attach the included coaxial cable to the motor platform, do not over-tighten. Then you need to slide the black boot on the cable all the way up to the motor platform/base. Once all the way up, you are to notice that little metal ring down at the bottom of the boot and that it has a tiny arch in it. You take ordinary pliers and squish that arch to provide a better seal. In the make-believe world where you can push the boot up to the motor platform without first...

Brian A. Clark: The antenna has a lot of gain. Most of the gain comes from the amplifier in the antenna head. It has few elements for passive gain (especially for VHF), which results in a wide beam width. In my installation, that is an advantage because the stations I want are at 145 and 174 degrees, I aim for about 160 degrees and get them all. My antenna is about 8-9 meters above the ground. I reliably get stations which are near-fringe distance (about 100 km.) Stations that are far-fringe (about 140 km) are received only when there is tropospheric reflection, so they come in occasionally at night, and are gone in the day.

There are three main parts to this antenna system. The antenna reflecting and directional elements are hard-wired to the amplifier and rotor, and that assembly is mounted outside on the mast. Inside is an AC adapter which powers a box that in turn provides power to the amplifier and rotor through the supplied coaxial cable. The box also has a hard-wired coaxial cable that supplies the TV signals to your set. The rotor is controlled by a single button on the box and by an infra-red remote control.

The rotor moves very fast, there is no direction indicator, and if...
