FarFlungHeel: I used this at a location nestled in a tree-shrouded, somewhat remote valley and with a typically unresponsive cable provider whose network routinely goes out for days at a time, leaving us with zero accessible channels on the TV. Using this antenna, I could access 12-20 channels depending on time of day, weather and the direction I pointed it. Most of the channels were obscure ones in which I had no interest but it was good to have some connection and the occasional program worth watching.

The product is easy to use and does a full channel scan of the skies in about 5 minutes. It’s useful to ping it in different directions and re-do the scan to find the optimal positioning. A relative a few miles from me but with less tree cover was able to access about 70 channels.

Jagdev: We git rid of sky multi room and needed an aerial connection as no aerial on roof. This is for bedroom tv we plugged it in and put it next to the window on the sill. Super easy to set up and it receives over 100 channels with crystal clear picture. Would recommend as very good value and quality.

Lecia J: I downgraded my Xfinity cable plan to the Now TV package for $20/month, which doesn’t include any local stations. I rarely watch live TV and primarily DVR cable shows and use various streaming services. However Jeopardy is the one show on local TV I don’t miss, which I usually record and watch at my convenience. The savings on my cable bill was well worth the inconvenience of tuning in live when I could because current Jeopardy episodes aren’t available at all. Unless of course I subscribe to Hulu Live, YouTube, or one of the other platforms but those plans are significantly more than $20.

Unfortunately, buying an antenna wasn’t the easy solution I had hoped it would be. I purchased and returned two antennas that claimed to cover several hundred miles but did not pick up one channel living in a heavily populated city with tv towers less than 15 miles away.

I was about to give up on my plan and choose to pay for convenience, but I read on some tech site that this antenna was legit. I was skeptical but I was excited when I started the tuning search and several channels came up. I only cared about one and the one I wanted showed up perfectly clear. I attached it...

Pitt Willet: These days it seems you have to choose which streaming channels you won't get because of contract disputes. My present streaming carrier is in a contract negotiation with another that carries some local channels. i bought the antenna to receive those missing channels since who knows how long it will be before that's resolved if ever.

I was skeptical buying it at it's low price point. What channels did I get: I wasn't expecting too much so it exceeded my expectations being able to receive all of the major broadcast channels (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, PBS) plus others for a total of 60 or so. I wasn't too excited about the extra channels besides the major networks since most were shopping networks and others of low interest (to me). If you're looking to cut streaming costs you certainly can with an antenna, but expect to watch only major networks for the most part.

important disclaimer: My address is only 3-4 miles away from broadcast towers. Although I can recommend this unit for others who live close to towers I can't speak to how it works at the longer ranges. You should check the digital TV map from the FCC before deciding which antenna to get as the vendor...
