Replaced an Amp that had died after15-20 years . This seems to work just as well. Don't think I can say any better.

If your a first timer this is great to start with if your a pro this is fun we'll made and a must have for your collection. :
I bought this to get better signal to my TV from my antenna and it worked great.you have to supply your own cable to go between the power plug and device .

I have a new HIGH GAIN antenna with a " signal input , output " amplifier it receives "20 +" channels. When i installed the Lindsay 4 port passive ( LSA84EQ8) amplifier it received ONLY 2 channels !! This is no good for FRINGE reception very weak amplifier !!

Years ago, I decided to cut the cable and use an antenna for free over-the-air HDTV. However, I live in a hollow with no line-of-sight to the transmission towers, so my TV signals are weak. Furthermore, the signals are constantly disrupted by bad weather, waving trees, aircraft approaching the airport, and freeway traffic crossing the signal path on the ridge above me. I built a large 4-bay bowtie antenna to mount in the attic. That design was considerably better than most commercially available antennas, and the most forgiving as far as signal disruptions were concerned.
The next challenge was to split that signal and get it to the two TVs in the house, each about 75 feet away from the antenna - running cable through the attic, walls, and crawlspace.
This amplifier has been perfect in my application. It compensates for crippling signal losses caused by cheap passive splitters and long cable runs. It was easy to mount, and it comes with a power supply and two terminating caps for the unused amplifier outputs. Those caps are important for impedance-matching and keeping the amp as stable and noise-free as possible. I bought high-quality, low-loss, 3GHz RG6...
