CT Campbell: These get slammed on the Reddit metal detector sub for being sub-par with the better metal detectors. That's fine. It's not a high-end machine. But it's a good beginner's machine. Accurate enough, dependable enough, easy to assemble and start using. You take it out, you find stuff. It takes 2 9 volt batteries, so if 9 volt isn't your thing, look elsewhere. I went ahead and got a 9 volt recharger and some extras.

I will say this: my 2 daughters and I have a blast taking this thing out "treasure hunting," along with a pinpointer. They are absolutely thrilled when it beeps and can't wait to do what kids love to do -- dig. The 9 year old gets an orange pin pointer, the 5-year old gets a magnet and a spoon (I know, not conducive to proper metal detecting) and daddy get this thing and both a big shovel and the smaller shove that comes with this set (which is a heavy duty little shovel, btw). Then we all go to town -- team building, disussing what metals are -- steel vs gold/silver, magnetic, etc., Hoping to find "fossils" and "treasure," we treasure by searching and finding whatever we find.

Easy assembly, easy to use. Great entry level machine. Will you outgrow it? I hope...

Cathie G Chadwick: I bought this detector as a beginner, with zero experience as a metal detector. After watching some YT videos to be informed on what I was getting into, I set out into my backyard. Living in the historic district of downtown it wasn't long before I was onto my first target. Targets galore! As I am a fisherman, my patience is strong, I'm used to working hard for infrequent reward. Buckets of trash, nails, bottle caps, scrap wire, and other strange metals go by. While discouraged, I scanned on, searching and dirt fishing for the prize. many hours had passed and I finally dug up a treasure. It was a WWI Army uniform cufflink! I was blown away! Soon to follow were many other small historic treasures... an antique shotgun shell cap, a sterling silver ring, a french coin, and a few others. I've had a blast with this detector! I had some questions for Pancky and they've been there through email to help me figure it out and I praise them for great customer service. I highly recommend this Detector not only because it is just right for the beginner but if you need assistance Pancky is easy to reach for assistance. Thanks Pancky! Although i blame you for my new addiction. =D

YupIboughtOne: Bought this to search for my missing wedding band in the yard - no luck there so I'm still in the dog house with the wife but that's not the detectors fault as I may have lost it anywhere in the county.

It took a little practice with some coins on the ground to set the proper sensitivity for my yard and figure out that a repeatable beep in the same spot meant something vs a random beep due to some other factor but that only took about 2 minutes :)

However! The Pancky detector has an easy learning curve and will prove to be a lot of fun down the road with the grandchildren.

PROS:
- It's simple to assemble. Ensure that the tension pad in the two ring collars on the handle parts are retracted (just twist to the difficult to see 'unlock' position embossed on the top of each ring) else you will wonder why you cannot fit the handle pieces into each other but other than that everything is straight forward.

- The great included carrying bag, shovel, headphones, and even the batteries made this unit a fun and functional right out of the box experience!

- It goes a long way towards appeasing a wife who expects you to trace every step taken since you...

PANCKY-PK0075. Perfect for cleaning nails in lawn around building in renovation.
I used PVC glue to seal the 10 inch and silicone glue for the wire.
PANCKY-PK0075 is as waterproof as a purse, hat or shoes.
If it rains on them, put them away as quickly as possible.

Every time I dropped a nail, it was pic-up right away.
Metal detectors at the end of the job for those nail that I could not find.
When three different objects are detected at the same time, not wanting the pennies but only the nails,
I use the PP function and the metal detector pinpointed the last noise (the nail) perfectly.
The red arrow shows the smallest piece detected and picked up with a magnet.

Scott: The screw on the end seems to not want to tighten so it keeps flopping around other then that seems to work well. I used it to find corner pins on a property. The detection seems to tell you what coin it thinks you found and the numbers are useful to skip over stuff your not looking for. Once I found 1 pin the numbers were the same on the other so finding it was easyier
