Russell Isaacson: First off performs very well easy to use simple interface the more you use it you and experiment with the sensitivity you can learn the tone difference between aluminum and steel but as far as I can tell from coins (all modern by the way) and a gold ring I've found since using it coins gold and aluminum all have the exact same tone no matter the trash detector setting but other than that it's made in Merica it's lightweight durable I highly would recommend it.The daydreams and the possibilities alone are worth it.If you don't buy it your a fool

Diego: It works. Everyone likes the feel of a premium item, the rigidity, weight. It allows you to both trust and love a product. This product works, but has neither of those qualities. When I first opened this product, I thought "oh, yeah this is junk"; however, considering the prices that metal detectors can reach, this seems somewhat fair. I am more of an amateur when it comes to metal detectors, so the only commentary I can honestly put out there is that this is an cheap, effective, and easy to use product, but not very durable.

Roy. R.: Simplicity of use and good dectecting depth for a budget detector. The inclusion of headphones in the package is a plus. Shame the 2 x 9Volt batteries are NOT included; but this is stated in the description information. Fun to use.

Amazon Customer: Found a 14k gold ring on my second day out with it. Sold the ring for well over $200! I would say this is a must buy for a beginner -- it's entry level for sure, but definitely worth it. It isn't great in very wet salt water and the discrimination is not great. Won't find a ring or coin more than a couple inches deep, but I did find some cans over a foot down. The headset is cheap, but works really well and is very comfortable. All-in-all a perfect detector for someone trying out the hobby and not looking to spend a fortune.
