Mel: Book 1 was good but definitely a slow burn. However it did what it was supposed to. I love how this book immediately picked up from book 1 without wasting time summarizing it.
The spice was nice, hot, sweet and erotic. I loved that the author allowed some space for all members of the harem to be heard.

AJ Meszaros: Monster song by jb trepagnier was so unexpected. There's twists and turns, tons of actions. The slow burn romance starts up this book and don't slow down. I'm downloading the next book . Can't wait.

Brooklyn Van Antwerp: Who knew monsters could have such epically hot AF sex?! My god, I would love to have sex with a Kraken now 💦
Anyway, this series has me so hooked. Not only with following along in River’s story but also getting to read all the action that happens. I’ve always been a fan of Greek Mythology, so getting to read a story with all the major players is a dream come true.
River and her 5 lovers. I love how 4 are different monsters and then there is a God. All the different monster abilities make for some crazy hot love scenes, that’s for sure.
I love how different River is. I mean yeah, she’s half demon but she was raised human so for her to not be afraid to stand up to Gods is amazing. I mean she even lit Hades’ pants on fire for crying out loud 🤣
I can’t wait to see what happens next in her story!

s: Stars given on level of engagement;
5 stars - less than a day to read because I cannot put it down. I only give 5 stars if it has managed to engage extra emotions from me - extreme lol moments or real teary moments etc. A 5 stars book tends to have me raging about cliff hangers and (legally and not creepily) stalking the author for release dates.
4 stars - 2 days to read or less. A book that I have quite enjoyed reading, feisty MC and some racy scenes with thier romantic interest. I would definitely follow a series and author for 4 star books.
3 stars - takes around 2/3 days to read, usually because I have become distracted and less engaged in some sections but by the end the end I have enjoyed the overall story and would read any sequels.
1/2 stars not given, as I have usually returned it without finishing as I'm not engaged. .

Dannie: This was nice a plot came to an end, and we got to have the T up lead in for the next book.
I love all the monsters though I feel a lot of things have been too easy for River. This ending kinda makes up for that. I’m interested to see where this goes though and if this next book is the last.
All of her relationships are nice and bring something to the table. I typically don’t read f/f scenes just bc that aren’t my cup, but Pavalina is a nice character despite her being a giant spider for most of book 1 lol still though I look forward to the next book.

Kristi Jung: I cant compliment Monster Song enough. The characters development and relationships, the plot, the writing, the descriptions - flawless. I was expecting a HEA, but now frustrated and excited to wait for the next book.
RH - 1 FMC, 4 Harem (3 m, 1 f)
River meets new characters and the crew and her make and finalize their plans against Demetes (however you saw, spell and pronounce it). The plan unfolds and the scenes play out in two glorious battle fronts against those who bet on the monsters and the goddess who started the whole thing. Relationships develop and finalize. In the last 10% there is a two week time skip that did not flow with the book, but was necessary for the cliffhanger in the last 2%.
[mini spoiler]
I am extremely disappointed in the last 5% with the time skip because 1. it was rushed. 2. Told not shown. 3. River became this weak person who, even though she asked questions, let their non-answers roll over her and she didn’t do everything possible to find her missing lover - which goes against literally ALL of her personality shown in the last two books.

Kindle Customer: This is a three book series with a why choose RH love story. The story is a but of a slow burn with a build up to the action in in this book. Raven is open but seems strangely against everything until she's suddenly....not. She's finally got her answers from book one, which is great, this make the story move much faster love the mystery is solved. I liked it but it needed a little editing.
