Get the peace of mind you need with the Moen DN7035 Home Care Shower Seat.Amazon Customer: This bath stool's strongest point is that it does not have any drilled holes on the legs, as the former one did. The holes will be a source where water can enter inside the legs and also provide a surface where water will sit and cause mold/algae (please consider this factor when comparing different models). I gave five stars for assembly as it is so basic that one does not need instructions. It appears to be ruggedly-built and thus, five stars was assigned. This stool is a quality product.

Amazon Customer: Purchased this for my father when he was sick and it worked great. It was easy to put together and was delivered quickly. The stool is pretty sturdy and doesn't move around in the shower.

Pam: Perfect size for my shower. Comes in mighty handy when you have a broken ankle in 3 places. It's light weight but sturdy. I live to position mune right under the flow of the shower and just sit and relax. Other times I push it i a corner and only sit on it to shave my legs. I has been a life saver for me. Although I no longer NEED it, I like having it there just in case I feel like pampering myself. If you found this review to be helpful, please click yes.

Dan O': After suffering a serious illness I had to break down and purchase a shower seat because I just couldn't get through a shower without a fall that could be potentially serious. My Moen Home Care Shower Seat arrived quickly, and it snapped together in about three minutes. It is sturdy, strong, and comfortable to sit on. The holes in the seat make it easy to keep the seat clean and well-drained, and the seat is lightweight and has carry handles on the sides which make it easy to move around. If your shower is a step in shower without a real bathtub, this item may not fit in your shower and you might want to consider a smaller version. I like the extra room and stability this seat provides.

AC: My mother has considerably weakened with age and is now unfortunately is a fall risk. Once she started having a hard time in the bathroom I knew it was time to start making modifications to facilitate things for here. I was a bit weary about ordering this product because of some of the reviews I read and was afraid that I would be "getting what I paid for". The seat is light and very easy to put together. It took me a couple of minutes to get the legs on and all I needed was a screwdriver. We have a walk in shower so the chair fits perfectly against one side of the wall. Its a good height for my mom (she's about 4'8'). Its sturdy and she feels safe when showering which is what matters most to us.

Kevin Tant: I have occasional weakness and/or foot cramping due to Parkinson's, and it's a relief to be able to sit down and relax a bit during a shower. However, it takes up about 1/2 of a shower, so there isn't a lot of room to move if you decide you want to stand. Also, it can be tricky getting up from a seated position if you don't have any leverage or if you have weak leg strength. That's not the fault of the product; it's just the realities of a disabled person. It's not made to be used to stand you up! The product is very stable and comfortable for a person my size (under 180 lbs) but may be uncomfortable for someone much larger (again, go back to little space to maneuver). I think that it would be very effective for a person in a bathtub with assistance.
