Hart Penn: I was skeptical about this antenna at first as I live about 25 miles from the main towers. I assembled and mounted the antenna on my chimney and pointed it approximately to towers. I then ran the 40ft cable down to the existing house connection which I connected to the ATSC tuner I purchased at the same time and let it scan away. It easily found all of the network channels. The picture quality is amazing and the football experience is everything I hoped it would be.

Mayito: This replaced a fancy styled antenna with lots of elements on the back, but this is shorter and there is an improvement to the signal at the same location (6 ft from the ground on an old DirectTV post). Simple and basic but effective.
Tricky to put together but in the end both UHF and VHF channels had a big improvement. I highly recommend an amplifier if you plan to connect more than 2 tv’s to the same antenna.

Daniel K.: This little antenna absolutely rocks! I’ll give a full review of it below, but first I want to offer a little advice to those cutting the cord for the first time and wondering which antenna to buy.
There are just a couple of fundamentals you need to know. The first is, you need to know what frequencies you are actually trying to receive and tune for. Over-the-air broadcast TV as it comes to us, is basically in three segments: Low VHF (channels 2-6), High VHF (channels 7-13, and UHF (channels 14 and above). Unfortunately, you need to know this because your favorite station may or may not be broadcasting on the advertised station number. And the frequency it is actually broadcast on should directly affect your choice of antenna. You can determine this by logging on to RabbitEars.info-(your city name here). For example, Channel 19 in our market is actually broadcast on high VHF-10. Channel 3 is actually broadcast on UHF-19, etc. It usually shakes down like this: UHF channels are the easiest to receive, low VHF stations are a little harder, and high VHF channels are the most difficult.
