SKS: Working great. Very easy install. Good instructions. Reason for 4 stars is that the cigarette lighter connectors fuse was blown; so when I tested it…nothing worked. Luckily I had fuses at home and was able to fix the issue. If someone didn’t know what they were doing, it would have caused a problem.

A Constant ReaderA Constant Reader: I have only had the LeeKooLuu Wireless Backup Camera HD 1080P Waterproof Truck Car Mini-RV Back Up Camera System Travel Camper Rear View 5'' Monitor Night Vision Two Channels Digital WiFi Signals F09 for a week now, so I will not be able to offer any opinion as to its long term durability or LeeKooLuu's customer service over time, but I will say that so far I am very happy and satisfied with my purchase of it. First they were able to deliver the order even sooner than promised, and in good condition. As recommended, I took everything out of the box and set up the camera and monitor in a test configuration to be sure both were working properly and the promised factory pairing had been done. The test was passed with excellent results. The instructions for doing that, and for doing the installation however are a terrible broken English translation, and of little to no value. The pictures helped, and possibly the videos are better, but I had experience and chose not to use them. The less than useful instructions are the reason for 4 Stars and not 5. Several people have complained of the instructions and the difficulty of doing the necessary wiring when this is described as wireless....

Amir Ajani: I installed this LeeKooLoo F9 backup camera in my car. Installation was very easy. It works great. Rear view display on monitor is clear. Night Vision tech is good and images are clear on monitor. Amazing price too.

SG: This was a replacement for a wireless camera that had quit, so installation was relatively easy. The picture quality is great,being able to adjust the guidelines is a very convenient, the button controls are intuitive and easily mastered. The cigarette lighter on off feature is very useful particularly if your lighter remains on when vehicle has been turned off. Expect a 3 second delay for the camera to work after choosing reverse, in my case this is not an issue. You may find that the camera will have to be paired, easily done.All in all very satisfied with my purchase.

Amazon Customer: This is a very good backup camera with great picture quality. The installation is straight forward and quick. No pairing process required if you have one camera only as it comes pre-paired. The menu allows to modify the red/yellow/green guidelines to fit to the application. I've installed it on my boat as a backup camera and am happy with it.

Mike: Update one year and 5000 km later, after being parked in a heated garage for the winter, the monitor no longer functions, only blinking a generic image of a vehicle. Will not reset. Despite searching I am unable to find a way to contact the seller or manufacturer to resolve. Accordingly, I have revised rating from 4 stars to 1.
Original review: I wired this to my back up light so the screen was not on when I was not reversing. From other reviews I understand that it is a bright distraction at night if wired to running lights and thus always on. The penalty for wiring to back up lights is a 3 to 4 second delay when I put vehicle in reverse until I see image. To me this is acceptable.
The only issue I have with this product is that the ‘grid guide lines’ that appear (you can turn them off) have a very limited relationship to the car width, and are thus, unless you do some measuring, only useful for centering the vehicle in a space when backing up.
While you can adjust the grid width, from a normal licence plate location it will still not be as wide as the vehicle when nearing an object. After doing some measuring, I have figured that with my licence plate mounting...

SST316SST316: This is a good backup camera for my vehicle, a 2005 Subaru Legacy wagon, but it took a little bit of effort to get it working. The product was well packaged and came with written instructions. The instructions tell you to test the system by wiring the camera and monitor to the cigarette lighter adapter. This did not work for me - got a blank screen after a momentary image from the camera. Suspecting that there was insufficient power I attached the camera and monitor to a 1 amp 13.5 volt DC power brick I had lying around. The camera image then appeared fine. My advice is to skip the testing, you will save yourself unnecessary work.

The other issues I faced were vehicle specific. Because the camera is centered on the license plate it interfered with the latch for opening the tailgate. I drilled a hole in the mounting bracket directly under the camera and this allowed the camera to be mounted to the license plate just to the left of the latch. I used the license plate light wiring to power the camera. That way the camera comes on whenever the lights are on. Because I was worried about the power draw I replaced the license plate bulbs with led bulbs that draw only 0.5 watts....
