Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: Great picture quality. Easy to install. I wired the positive and negative to my rear backup wires just behind the tail light. I wired the screen into my 12v cigarette lighter and leave it powered on. This way the camera only comes on in reverse. Also the camera is small and hidden away and I can open and close tailgate without touching it. Swweeeettt!

Having this camera for awhile I would give it 4 stars for cars but only like 3 stars for trucks. There is some minor static on the camera when initially using it on cars. I would only give it at best 3 stars for trucks. They say that this can be used on trucks but when you receive this product, you will notice that truck use is not recommended.
Well it is true. I didn't mind much at first but I got this product mainly to make hooking onto a trailer much easier. Although this product can get annoying always having to move the screen around to eliminate the static.
The static is enough sometimes to make it more difficult to see the trailer hitch. The fact I got 2 cameras for the price of $60 then yeah I give it 5 star review because the bang for the buck but if you are only getting one camera, not so much.

ronald Jronald J: The installation for this wireless backup camera and monitor is as easy as it comes. I installed it on a 2004 Chevy Suburban 1500 suv and it took less than one hour because the camera - monitor connection is wireless, and I used the (included) power switch adapter for the 12vdc outlet. Only two screws held the suv taillight assembly in-place, and once the taillight assembly was removed, it was easy access and ID of the reverse/backup light wiring. I mounted the camera to one of the license plate screws electing to go with a more secure fastening than using the (included) double sided tape on the back of the license plate. No drilling was necessary to feed the power wires from camera to taillight since there was a sizable hole thru the bumper frame behind the license plate. The two T-taps (included) worked as intended for a simple connection of power feed to the camera. The included length of wiring was sufficient for my suv. I elected to use the magnetic swivel/suction cup for mounting the color 4.3" monitor on top and near center of the dashboard; the kit comes with an alternate plastic monitor dock but I decided to use the swivel/suction cup mount to be able to adjust the...
