Just Jim: As the title states, the setup, installation is quite easy. But, the siren could definitely be louder.

Victor Ross: This system has worked well for me until my remote arm button stopped working. This appears to be a common failure based on other reviews as well. Fortunately the kit comes with a second remote and I’ve switched to my spare. I use this system in a detached garage that doesn’t get a lot of use so not so much of a big deal since the remote has lasted for 2 years. But I suspect daily use would render it inoperable much sooner. The system was inexpensive and I was only looking for some quick, cheap and easy to install until I’d put in a more sophisticated system. However after 2 years I’m still using it and will probably replace it at some point. Hopefully before the spare remote fails. Since this is a common problem I hope the manufacturer will do something to improve the Arm button failure because otherwise it’s a pretty good system for the money.

ARB: Bought this to keep at home do feel more safe while I sleep.

Product comes with a bunch of sensors and everything worked well. I also tried the system and it works as intended.

One thing to keep in mind, ITS EXTREMELY LOUD. I personally kept it under a blanket just to reduce the sound level when arming/disarming. Worth mentioning that this is also not connected to police, so it doesn't require a subscription, but if you're in trouble you got to call the police yourself.

Also, would not recommend putting the adhesive part on painted walls, I did it and once I took it off it removed paint (not the fault of the product, I'm just dumb lol)

Dan Corbeil: I wasn’t sure what to expect from a $70 security system with this many sensors in a kit. But honestly, it is everything I was hoping for in a kit. Though it appears somewhat made cheap at first glance (especially if using outside in the cold climate), I wanted it more as an inside alarm system when I’m not home and someone tries to break in. Very simple design but effective and works well with seemingly no false triggers in my opinion. I wasn’t sure about the remote controlling feature at first rather than a wall mounted code timer type but I’m rather pleased with the remote feature and there is a spare one in the kit too. The alarm is quite loud actually so much so that I put a lid on the siren to dampen it substantially so it wouldn’t annoy neighbours if activated. It was well thought of in the design in that the siren stays on even if you close the door after which would defeat the purpose obviously and I made sure the siren was mounted near the ceiling so a thief cannot access it to disconnect it. Certainly worth the small investment for peace of mind, great value and product, thank you.

S. Paczer: It only got 4 stars because unit is new and installation programing was a pain. A followup will come after I have this a while.
The way to incorporate each unit (remote, IR sensor, door sensor) into alarm system can be a pain.
Example: Remote-plug unit in & out 3 times, wait for 3 beep signal then hit button on remote, wait for signal of aknowledgement, then it beeps 3 times ready for next remote, and again for next, and so on till all are in.
IR sensors- plug unit in & out 5 times to do IR sensors. IR sensor same way as remotes, one at a time.
Door sensor- plug unit in & out 7 times. Then follow the same procedure as remote and IR sensors. Miss one or factory reset unit? Start all over... wow!
Do yourself a favor! Have all remotes, or sensors, & door sensors right there next to you when setting them up. Keeps you from up & down ladders, and moving ladders from sensor to sensor. Then having to do it again when "oops it factory reset" again.
Main unit has to be close to an outlet & is loud inside house. It's not load enough to scare someone away when the speaker unit is mounted inside. Need an outside speaker that's loader the the one...
