Rob: It's keeping my 29G tall working at a constant 76 in a 65-degree ambient basement. The temp gauge is a little off might take you some adjusting but not a huge amount.

Philbert: After getting the temperature stable at 76 deg, I noticed algae growing so checked the temp and it was 86 deg. about 3 months later. I tried turning it down 2 turns to get it to cool down and it didn't so I just unplugged it until it was 76 and tried adjusting it for that temp. It was set there for the last 2 months then I didn't see the light on so tested the water and its 68 and I can't get the heat to go back on. So, it lasted 10 months and I'm going to have to get another one fast because its getting much colder now. The rheostat for the temperature settings was wildly inaccurate and found to fluctuate several times so I won't be buying this potential killer for my 50 gal aquarium again. Now it is dead. Do Not Buy This Garbage !

Glenda: I really enjoy this heater, it is a little difficult to use at first because you have to twist the knob and it turns whatever temperature you have it set to red. The bottom suction cup does not want to stay attached to the tank but the top on hasn’t attempted to come off. It is keeping my tank around 76 degrees which is perfect for my fish.

MissMotie: I've had it for months and so far no explosions or overheating. It's great. If anything changes, I'll update this. The couple of people commenting that theirs exploded or melted... Cmon. Research before use!!! You need to submerge it first. Some recommend having the heater fully under water for thirty minutes before plugging it in. It is NOT meant to be outside the tank for any period of time even partially. So if this is you, do not rate it badly and demand a refund. You are using it improperly!

Grace L: Good heater for the price. I have been using a 100W unit in a 40gal marine reef tank for 3 yrs. Keeps very steady temps. I have it set at 75*F. I purchased an extra one in case of failure and haven't had to use it yet.
