Marc F: I have had good luck with Hygger heaters, I have a lot of them, my go-to product

Shannon: I like the black it looks cool. Works well and does get moisture sometimes inside the glass which happens to all the brand's I have. I'm sure the moisture is a product of altitude and temperaure. Maybeanufacturers of aquarium heaters could start using Nitrogen gas in the tube maybe that would.help

Steve: I had this heater set to 74 for my tetras. Worked well for the first couple days. Then one day I noticed the light on the heater seemed to be on for a long time. I checked the water temp and it was 80 degrees! So I unplugged it for about 10 minutes and then adjusted the nob down one tick thinking that the thermostat must be out of calibration. I plugged it back in, the heater light did not go on, so i was satisfied the overheating problem was resolved. A few hours later I came back to double check make sure the heat was not going crazy again. Noticed the heater light was not on. Checked the temp of the water and it was at 68 degrees!! so I started to turn the dial up to coax the thing to come on, and it did not until I had the temp reading set to 86 degrees!! This thing is GARBAGE. Last heater I buy from Hygger!

Steve G.: Added it to my new shrimp tank when the ones I usually get were out of stock. Works well. Like all heaters they are calibrated to a house that is 70-72 so if your house is 68 you might need to turn it up a degree or 2. Been heating tank for months now. Very happy and Cord is longer then most which is a huge bonus. Wish I could get even longer.

Azaniah Israel: I did my research for a week or so before getting this, and I got 2 of them. Thinking to get some more.
Great suction and its submersible.

Chris : Dont remove it from the water while on for any reason. The fuse inside blows and the heater becomes useless. I checked to make sure it was working, and in doing so, apparently I broke it. On to the next brand.

Update: unprompted, hygger reached out to me and shipped a replacement free of charge. Great customer service is rare and deserves acknowledgment.

Rebecca: I bought the 300W for my tank because I liked the features listed (especially the automatic shut-off) and I have always had good luck with the brand.

PROS:
* The temperature guide is clear and large enough to read easily
* The suction cups are nice and strong, no giving up and letting things float around
* Fully submersible!

CONS:
* It did not, in fact, heat the water.

I read the instructions, plugged it in, adjusted it and the light came on, giving the fish a little reading lamp while they wrapped themselves up in their little fishy sweaters, cause buddy, it was cold in there. Cranked the temp up, and the heater stayed cool to the touch. Pretty sure heaters aren't supposed to do that. My water never got above room temperature, and in desperation I chucked a 150 watt heater from a 20 gallon tank into the 75, and it went up 10 degrees (F) in five hours, so I'm pretty sure the 300 wasn't getting overwhelmed by the quantity of water. Didn't lose any fish, but I did lose $30.
Overall, disappointed. I like the hygger brand and generally recommend it to others as reliable, but this makes me a little more wary.
CONCLUSION: Great...

Florida ManFlorida Man: The media could not be loaded.  I have been using Hygger heaters a few years and they have always done me well.

This new one is no exception. It is a Great, Sleek and easy to use. I like the suction cup mount because it is more sturdy than many other heaters I have had in the past.

I would recommend this heater to anyone with the kost expensive fish down to beginner fish.
