I chose the 500W after careful review. It worked like a charm. At about seven months it suddenly stopped functioning. I sent an email to the service team and received a response immediately. I was able to provide the description of the problem, picture and order details. I received such a kind response and was sent a replacement without any problem whatsoever. My new replacement went into action immediately and is working perfectly. Such gracious service and a quality product. Bravo!!!

This is the best heater I have ever had in my aquarium (150gal) I have had it just shy of 10 months and had my first malfunction (sensor stopped working) so I emailed hygger with photos of the error code I was getting, along with a acreenshot of when I ordered it on Amazon, they emailed me back within a few hours and shipped out a replacement that I received about a week later! Excellent customer service, and a great heater! 100% will recommend to anyone!

It worked great - when it worked. Less than 3 months after I received it the unit failed. My tank temperature has plummeted and I'm now scrambling to find a replacement heater, foolish me for thinking a $90 heater would be reliable.

Wow! look at what Santa Clause brought me for Christmas; the New Hygger 500 Watt Submersible Smart Heater with LED Digital Temperature external readings. Only two pieces total, the stylish high end component ceramic heater itself and the external dongle thats used to adjust your temperature settings and view temp readings of inside aquarium water. I never saw a Heater heat up my tank so fast yet be so safe! The pictures above with temp display were takin within 10 seconds of each other. Within minutes I reached my desired targeted temperature of 78 degrees. The Reason I call this Hygger a Smart Heater is for several reason and one being; as it starts to approach its targeted temperature within minutes of starting temp, it slows down within the last 2 degrees so its accurate not to over heat the water for a close to perfect reading. I really love how the heater shows me when its heating or when its idle; Pictures above shows how digital horse shoe shape imprint above the numbers is constantly moving from empty to full in order to show its heating, when digital horse shoe shape imprint above the numbers is full with no movement heater is in idle keeping temperature...
