AJ: Bought two of these 5 years ago and installed them on a tandem dump truck and one ton dump truck, they have survived and provide excellent visibility for backing up and lining up with trailer hitch

Mr. Details: Actually bought this for our tractor - getting hard to look backwards while backing up at my age. The monitor has been mounted on the cowl in front of the instruments, and the metal camera (which has a 4-pin round cable "pigtail" coming out of it) was mounted on the rollover bar. Don't have a need to use this system at night, so can't comment on its night vision capabilities...
The camera viewing width/depth/image quality is perfect for where we mounted it, and the 7m (23') cable was more than long enough for making connections (a second, longer, 50' cable was also provided, but we didn't need it). The camera cable connectors are 4-pin round with a silver threaded nut locking system, so we zip-tied the cable as much as possible instead of drilling large holes to accommodate the camera connector. We used the rectangular monitor mounting bracket (which screws into the left and right sides of the monitor with 2 screws on each side) so as to provide maximum stability to the monitor (an additional mount was provided that has a smaller mounting base and connects via a track on the back of the monitor and is intended to be used with double-sided 3M foam/tape for connecting to the...
