Amazon Customer: This is the best digital antenna! This is my 2nd one. I bought the first one in the black color a few years ago for my living room tv. I had been dependent on high-priced cable for many years and a coworker told me about digital antennas and how I could save money. I had just bought a Firestick for streaming but I wanted my local channels too. I found this antenna while searching on Amazon and decided to try it out before ditching the cable altogether. I couldn’t believe how fast and easy the install was and how many channels I got with it. Not only did I have my local ones, but I had a lot more. I was so excited when I turned my cable box in for good! I’ve saved so much money. Fast forward to now and I finally bought a 40 inch TV for my bedroom. I purchased another Firestick for it and there was no question what digital antenna I would buy for it. I went right back and bought this same U Must Have digital antenna, this time in the white color because I was hanging it on the wall. Bill V: Edit: 10/5/2022 I stand by my original review however after a couple weeks of usage I have one major complaint. This antenna can not be placed on a window. The heat from sun melts the adhesive holding it together and the antenna comes apart at the seem. This is extremely unfortunate given the quality of signal and other feature this provides. Will try to find a way to permanently adhere both sides.
This digital hd antenna is by far one of the best I have used. Not only did the antenna and inline amplifier bring me 50+ channels it picked up all my channels from PlutoTV, Crackle, Xumo etc and added them to the guide. This was an unexpected bonus that I was thrilled with. The reception is excellent with no interruption in the signal. The hd picture is crisp and clear, true HD quality. In regards to setup, it is pretty much plug and play. Connect the coaxial cable and scan for channels on your tv. The cable is fixed to the antenna but it is approx. 10’ long so no issue there. You may have to move the antenna a little bit for it to pick up the most channels. This was not the case for me. Kudos2WritersKudos2Writers: I live in a heavily forested area not near any towers. As soon as I received my new HDTV antenna, I removed my 8 month old HDTV antenna that was only getting four channels, two of which were useless. The two I enjoyed were FOX and Bounce.
The old antenna also needed a coaxial cable extension and coax cable adapter to reach the window.
U MUST HAVE's HDTV antenna is the best in many ways and I'm completely thrilled with it. It was easy to install, following the included well-written and diagrammed setup guide.
I have experience with installing indoor antennas in my apartment, so I knew the optimal location to place my new antenna.
With my new antenna, I pulled in a whopping twenty-two (22) gorgeous channels, all with great reception, including the major broadcast channels.
The long cord is a wonderful addition to the antenna and has made a big difference. No more having to use coax extension cables. I'm also very happy that the cord is white because my old white antenna had a black cord. The white cord doesn't even show when you're looking from the outside of the window. This is very important for apartment dwellers.
