When wind blows, service is spotty. All said, feels good to get local stations without paying so much for cable TV. Worthwhile purchase.

Amazon Customer: I am having a hard time understanding how this product got so many positive reviews. I ran a comparison to my 10 year old $10. Antenna and there was no contest. Garbage, switched back to my old antenna which works much much better.

I knew we would only get a few channels at the campground , but it didn’t work at all :(
Tried in many locations. Even on the window it didn’t work.

new guy 21: I'm in Toronto and the antenna I had was limited to 8 stations and now I get 12 to include CHCH & Yes TV. If I move the antenna in another direction I pick up another 5 or 6 Buffalo channels. Once you have identify the locations for your stations. it works very well. No regrets here.

T C: The antenna is small and easy to put into place. I tried it without the amp and it was much better than any we have had before. It found 55 channels on the first scan and received nearly all of them. A few were not fully captured and a slight move got those to working but lost several of the ones that did work. Interestingly enough just rotating the disk could change what was received? So I left it where I could turn it ever so slightly and put it on a high shelf next to the TV so it could be turned as needed. I did use the amp as that made things worse. (we live in a strong signal area so more is not always better!) Thanks.. I would give it 5 stars but it needs a mount to make turning on the wall easy.. :) Some stations just want the cord coming off one side or the other center down works for most channels... turned just a little left or right gets the stations that don't even have a picture with the cable down.

Well, I had to try this. The reviews were positive and the price was less than expected. Once again, it was proven to me that we get what we pay for. This was basically trash: A floppy piece of plastic with a thin, cheap coaxial cable dangling from it like some kind of alien tail. The "amplifier" made no difference, other than using additional electricity to emit a faint blue light. (That way, I could be sure it was feeding on my electricity without giving me anything in return, like an electronic flea.)
I didn't hold out much hope when I unpacked it and saw how flimsy it was, but I held my breath, wished for success, and plugged it in anyway. Nothing. I added the amplifier with its faint blue light. Still nothing. After trying a few different mounting angles and locations, all for naught, I gave up and admitted I had just lost 30 minutes of my life that I would never get back.
If you're reading this, please don't allow those minutes to be lost in vain. I'm donating my time to you. Leave this product listing and find something else - something that actually works as described! You'll thank yourself and I'll sleep better at night, knowing I have...

Craig G.:
This is the third “paper-thin” indoor antenna w/amplifier I've tried, and by far the best of them all.
I live in a rural neighborhood, with lots of uncleared lots containing tall trees and the like. Although I'm only 40 miles away from the nearest broadcast towers, these obstructions can obviously present a problem with most antennas of this type.
To compound matters, I installed it in my master bedroom, which is in the northwest corner of my house. Unfortunately, the closest towers are in the opposite direction, that being southeast, and the room has no windows facing that direction. Also of note, the interior studs of the house are steel, which doesn't help anything either since the tower signal is having to travel through the entire house to reach the antenna.
Nonetheless, after a bit of moving this antenna around to find its “sweet spot”, I was able to pull in 26 channels, all with a strong signal that doesn't break up at all. This is far better performance than my other two similar antennas which are facing the southeast corner of my house where there are no steel beams, and are therefore located in much better positions for...
