Zulu Warrior: In the Snow Panthers last mission Camu had become ill, they were told Camu needed to remain with creatures of his own kind until better, they had no choice but to leave him
They were now all back at the shelter to continue training,with Sigrid's new methods, the idea was to gain more specialist skills but in a much quicker time
Camu returned using the pearl as a portal, he was well, much bigger and could now fly
The Ice Dragon was now thawing and nobody knew why not even the elders
This training was in their minds and had terrible side effects, you could actually die but be born again to try again, something goes badly wrong in the last part of the training, one of the Panthers and one of the Elders are injured, it would take a long time to recover

Philip: Still entertaining reading but quite repetitive and the interplay between characters gets somewhat tedious and juvenile at times. Seems to be a filler book to extend the series. Not sure it will be worth further time if the pace and level of writing does not pick up!

csb: This is the first one I've given 3 stars and its for a couple reasons. The main reason is that the higher training timeline doesn't make sense. They spent almost a year of actual time training according to the amount of seasons mentioned by the author.. But the results weren't much better than what a normal year would have brought during regular training with each getting 1 or 2 specialties (with 1 exception).. But with a ton more risk and problems. The main 3 mastered all or most of their original specialty but didn't get this specializations unless they got then during the harmony selection. It was very confusing and inconsistent.
The 2nd reason is majority if the book was also lacking any real action. It was about 70% through before there was any real action to the storyline. The author can stop repeating the same information over and over and having TBE characters act like its new again and the story will flow better and faster.

Der Schreibstil gefällt mir und ist angenehm,
auch wenn die Darstellung der Charaktere manchmal etwas langatmig wird.

Laurie L. Radwanski: Great book! I really liked this book and found it their advanced specialist training very interesting. Other than their new advanced training the only mission they went on was the one Camu went to investigate with the magical dragon orb/spere that had been under the ice in the mountain of the Shelter. Lasgol and team follow Camu and Ona when they use the dragon orb/spere to travel through the portal or pearl of the Shelter and get into some danger. The Mother Specialist and four Master Instructors have no idea that the Pearl of the Shelter is a Portal and by using magic you can travel from one Portal to another, and Lasgol, Camu, Ona and his team keep that fact secret so it will not pose danger to anyone else. They also keep the dragon orb and don't tell anyone else about it to keep others safe from the powerful magic it holds within the orb. This book doesn't have as much action as some of the other books in the series, but I found this book very interesting and look forward to the next book in the series and having some of my questions answered about Lasgol and his magic & things that came up in this book that are still waiting to be answered. I'm assuming...

Kelvin Morgan: Book 12 and now waiting for number 13 i love to to get lost in all their adventures it never fails to keep me up into the late hours i think to my self i will just finish this chapter and then go to sleep its only when the birds start chirping i realize i should really get some sleep and the hours have flown by and its nearly dawn .what ever happens keep the adventures coming please pedro .I really am looking forward to many more adventures with lasgol and co.

Kindle Customer: Brilliant story with sometimes surprising twists. Unfortunately the writing is clumsy and in some cases sounds like a pre-teen regurgitating a dictionary. Plus many of the characters continue to hold prejudices against any form of magic and resist anything to do with it despite multiple experiences showing that magic is not evil, only the user. So while these characters gain skills, they don't grow and have now become fixed caricatures rather than characters who develop. Consequently I get bored and frustrated with the predictability of most of their responses. However, I keep buying more books and occasionally grit my teeth because I want to see what happens, it's such a good story...
