Kindle Customer: This antenna surprised me as I had put up multiple bay uhf antennas and could not pick up several TV stations approximately 50 miles away. When I put this one up that changed. It uses a combination of UHF and VHF antenna elements which gives it a broader range of frequencies than just a uhf antenna. I can now pick up those channels. It is easy to put together and can be easily mounted. I would recommend it..particularly if some of you channels are in the vhf as well as uhf bands. Get a preamplifier if your cable from the antenna is long as it (the cable) will absorb the signal.

DANIEL HOLLOWAY: it worked well for about 6 months. The connection at the end was covered with rust and the antenna stopped working. poor craftmanship. DO NOT BUY THIS ANTENNA!!!!!!!!

Jackie in AZ: I've owned many TV antennas over the years. I would rate this one as one of the best ones I have ever purchased. As soon as I took it out of the package, it took me about 20 minutes to put together. All the parts fit together easily with easy to understand instructions. I would suggest a small hammer to get the antenna rods to slide into the proper position. But once the rods are inserted into position, they hold tightly in place and makes for a great antenna look and design. Once the assembly was complete, I connected the antenna to a 7 inch handheld Haier TV and was amazed at the number of channels it pulled in. The same exact stations I received with my $50 plus much larger antenna!!! Overall, I was very pleased with the quality of this antenna and its performance.

Leonard F. Zielenski: I purchased this to replace an old, wind damaged antenna with a 300ohm output. It performs well in a good signal area, less so in a medium to medium low signal range location. Assembly is straight forward though it is obvious many corners were cut in manufacturing notable by the rough edges and variability in the amount of force needed to seat the veins in the main tube. Everything is press fit so durability in a high wind environment is questionable. If you understand how an antenna works you'll realize that performance is directly affected by the size of the antenna..and this is a small antenna. Small enough it would not be too obtrusive in a balcony mount. As long as it remains in the $30-$35 range I see it as a good value and functional in the right environment. So much so that I have installed a second unit in a second location (hence the different impression based on signal strength) For my second location I added a signal amplifier costing more than the antenna to find only a marginal improvement in performance. Cecelia M.: I have been using a Channel Master 50 omnidirectional rooftop antenna for a year. Even though Channel Master says this is the best antenna for my location, it never worked very well. Lots of pixelation and I could never receive as many channels as I was supposed to. I bought the Cekay antenna to use in conjunction with the Channel Master and aim it at a second set of towers. It worked perfectly. So good in fact, I bought a second one and replaced the Channel Master. I now get great reception and have gone from 13 channels to 35.

I really wanted to support a local, US manufacturer, but their antenna just did not do the job. 2 of the CeKay antennas cost less than the single Channel Master. We'll see how the CeKay antennas hold up, but so far, very pleased.
