I bought this shower chair to use when I travel locally by car. It's hard to find a good chair that folds or comes apart easily to be compact enough for travel, which is also sturdy and can support a high weight limit. This chair fits the bill. The chair I was using previously for travel has legs that fold, but it was quite bulky and awkward to carry. It also had no back and could easily tip over if you leaned the wrong way. This chair solves all of those problems. The legs don't fold, but they are pretty easy to remove and insert. It has a back which folds down. So it's pretty easy to pack this up in a shopping bag. And it's pretty lightweight to carry. Also, it's very sturdy to sit on. It doesn't tip or wobble at all. It supports up to 300 pounds, which gives me great peace of mind that it will stand strong.
The dimensions are 34.5 inches wide by 18 inches deep by 21 inches high. And the leg height is adjustable, although some of the buttons were a little stiff, so it took a little bit of effort to hold the buttons while pulling the leg bottom. I live in an apartment and purchased the seat for my dad who was visiting for a month. He has Parkinsons and can't stand on his own. I live in an apartment in Manhattan so my tub/ shower is standard size. The seat fit perfectly. It's sturdy, light weight and very easy to assmeble . My dad loved it so much he took it with him when he left!

I bought this for my mom along with a handheld shower head to bathe her while recovering from heart surgery. It was a life saver. Mom was able to sit comfortably and hold onto the arms for added support getting in and out of bath. I was able to shampoo her head and scrub with no issues. Super easy to clean as well as the seat has drain holes. My mom now wants one for my aging grandmother.
