D Davis: We have the heater in a 50g outside fish pond. It's been in the low 20's past 2 nights, water felt warm. Very happy with it so far.

JEFF WALSH: Holds the temperature within 1 degree. Would definitely recommend and buy again.

MtsWildOne: This tank heater worked perfect except for it did not get hot enough for my 10 gallon tank.
It is not adjustable and I needed an adjustable one.

Milah: Perfect for pet fish, dont use for breeder fish since you can't adjust the temp. Its set at 78°F. Maybe its mentioned in the directions, but the 'on' light shuts off when the tank hits 78°, and it will turn on and off periodically as the water loses heat. At first I thought this was a sign that it was defective, but no, thats just how its supposed to work. Its the perfect size for my 10 gal tank, its not big and doesnt look bulky, and it does its job just fine.

JCrawford: This item did not do the job as it claimed. I had to send it back, because it was supposed to heat a 40 gallon tank and it didn’t even heat a 20 gallon tank. I was truly disappointed

Client d'Amazon: it is a good product, but i don't like preset heater beause it is pre set XD it do his thing perfectly thaugh and it is compact but i didn't see it so... im stuck whit it.... is ok but don't like that and i didn't want to get all the trouble to send them backlolllll *because if you have diseases, algue or itch you will have to get temp. higher or lower in order to solve that and whit that you can't...

Cindy: I was shocked about how good this item is.
When it first came, I thought it would overheat my tank, but I had to give it a try.
So when I placed the heater in, the suction was pretty secure! I was surprised by this, because lots of
heaters' suction power does not stick well.
It gets better and better! I turned on the heater and I saw the red light. I waited for a few more minutes and the light went down. At first, I thought I didn't plug the cable well, but after a while, I realized it was actually controlling the temperature in the tank. Amazing!
It turned on and off, on and off. Then I checked the temperature in the tank. It was perfect!
Overall, this heater is a solid 5 star!

calaltaca: As a follow up to my previous review. While the heater is fine and the preset leaves some worry out it being turned down/up by accident - BUT, I wasn't even thinking about this issue at the time as I'm sure a lot of people aren't, I had an Ich breakout in my tank a few days ago. Can't/don't want to use the numerous chemical treatments or the salt method as i have a few scale less fish. One a Zebra Pleco which is a fairly expensive fish . Plus I have a fully planted tank. So, the only other (and the most effective way) is to turn the heat up. Can't do that with this. Sooo today I had to go out and spend another 40.00 on an adjustable heater. Most aquarists will have a disease go through their tank at sometime and Ich is the easiest one to cure, IF you can turn the heat up.

SteeznutsSteeznuts: I made the mistake of not researching this heater before purchasing and leaving a poor review. Turns out that this heater doesn't necessarily heat up to 78°F, it is designed to heat exactly 5°F above "room temperature". However, it assumes your room is exactly 73°F. My room temp is a few degrees lower than 73° so this heater would only ever get my tank temp up to 77.0°F max. If you NEED it to be 78°F, you're better off getting a heater with an adjustable temperature dial. This one won't magically know where 78° is.
