I am using this indoors and get about 40 channels. All of the majors and a bunch of others. Tried the flat antennas and could not get cbs. Rarely got nbc or fox. Much more expensive but for me it works.

I’ve tried several antennas since cutting the cord (cable). I wasn’t real happy with any so even went back to cable. But with cable prices going up I decided to try again and invest in a good antenna. Wow this ones a winner. Bye bye cable and now get OTA tv. I assembled this (it’s easy) hooked up did a channel scan and oh my got more channels than ever before. This antenna is great. I may add it’s in my attic (live in a HOA) which is impressive considering what it could do outside at a higher height. If you are cutting the cord you should get this antenna. Not the cheapest but the best for sure. In the end you’ll be glad you spent a little more for a quality antenna. Channels are crisp, clear and no more pixalation. I highly recommend this antenna. It works !!!

Like probably everybody, I first tried an ultra-cheap $10 flat antenna in the window. I'm literally 10 miles from the TV signal mountain with pretty much ALL the stations, so I just assumed that would be plenty. NOPE. Tried a bigger $25 flat. Nope. Tried a $50 Aegis 80 in the window. Better, but still getting dropouts for several important channels.
FINE... I bit the bullet and sprang for this and finally, it's working well with the antenna sitting in my window facing the mountain. Getting signals 20dB strong than the Aegis, and that's without an amp on either. Ended up adding an amp to the Antop (not the one provided by Antop but a better one) because after I put on a 4-way splitter (TiVo, TV, HDHomeRun Duo, HDHomeRun Quad), that 12dB loss the Quad (6dB from two 1:4 splits) was getting was a bit much for a couple channels. Amp made everything happy.
Expensive, but I'm happy getting it to work without having to climb a ladder to mount an antenna.

We went from 18 weak tv stations to 41 crystal clear channels! I mean the picture quality was like watching a Blu-ray movie.
If we could get internet without Xfinity, this thing would be on my roof and I would be thrilled.
