Amazon Customer: The cameras were at a more than reasonable price. So I will say that for the price these are decent cameras as they do what they are intended to do. However, the night vision feature is horrible. It creates odd shapes that aren’t actually there and can be a bit fuzzy and switches from a light to dark image on occasion. You cannot individually set the color balance on each individual frame so if one of your cameras is in a lit up area and another is in a darker area you have one distorted frame and one that is balanced and easier to see. Adjusting color balance can become a bit inconvenient and frustrating. The image quality in daylight hours is great and the image shows zero distortion and is perfectly viewable. Overall the cameras are priced fairly and decent for the basic daylight viewing.

The dudeThe dude: First I must say the company's customer service is wonderful. As soon as I placed my order I had received an email thanking me for my purchase and contact information for a direct customer service person. I responded to their thank you email in which they also responded back to me with a non Auto generated reply. I was kind of impressed. I set the unit up directly out of the box before I ran any of the wiring. Everything seemed to work great. I got out my ladder and ran some wires and got everything hooked up in about 2 hours. It's very easy to set up. It's very easy to play files back. It's very easy to download the app on your phone to view your cameras on the Fly. You must have your DVR hooked up to an internet connection to be able to view via the app on your phone. It does not have wireless so you well either need to install next to your modem or use a wireless bridge . I am very impressed with the night vision, the quality of transmission, as well as playback.

Most smart outdoor security cameras use a Wi-Fi radio to connect to your home network, allowing you to access them from anywhere using a mobile app. But what I like in this models is that it uses wired Ethernet, which is much better than those wireless camera, which have a weak security protocol, and may allow anybody to hack in your cameras system very easily and start to spy on you instead. Wired camera are definitely SAFER.

Kevin & LizKevin & Liz: The media could not be loaded.  I had installed a q - see 8 channel camera system years ago. It's only 720P and lately I've been having problems with it. I decided to upgrade to a 1080p system. I already have ran a cable through my attic and but I only need to disconnect my 720p cameras and replace them with the new 1080P ANRAN cameras. I started off the install with disconnecting my old DVR and connecting all of the BNC connectors to the new ANRAN DVR. My next step was to go take down two of the old cameras and install two of the new ones in their place. That was easy enough because I already had the holes drilled in my Eve and all the cables ran. The cameras are a little tricky to get positioned as they articulate at three different points and you will need a hex head or allen wrench to loosen up these points so that you could swivel the camera and turn it to the position you need it at. All cameras require you to loosen pivot points to set them up but I was able to get all of these adjusted and pointing to the areas I wanted to view.
