Stan L.Stan L.: Build quality is pretty good for the price, range of wireless works very well for me. I should mention I have a 2011 Mazda 3 hatchback,I had purchased another brand that was very similar except the camera had an adhesive back when slipped over the rear plate. This does not work well at all as the plate is too low. I attached this camera to the plastic shroud around the rear high brake light, which is inside the rear tail lift, with a couple of short screws after drilling a couple of holes closer to the camera. From there it was easy to route the power and trigger wire to the backup lights which are also in the hatch and accessible from a small cover and use provided wire taps, excessive wire was cut shorter and then stuffed into compartment. Mounted the monitor on the dash with some velcro, it sticks well to the cloth in this area and didn't need the small antenna. Just need to set some objects in the field of view to set lines up. Con..wish the wire from the monitor would exit from the back and the joining connector to cig plug was farther from monitor, but not a big deal...this wire I will hide behind the panels. Now to get another cam for the front and I know I will be just as...

Beki McCall: I wasn't sure if this would work for me or not, but it works great. I needed a back up camera for my F350 when I tow my horse trailer and it allows me to see the trailer when I am backing up so that I don't jack knife it!

bob pisut: Camera worked well for months. Very flimsy Antenna on Camera that broke after months. Not able to contact Amtifo Customer Support directly or through Amazon from where it was purchased.. Very disapointed in that

S.D.WillieS.D.Willie: Purchased the Audiovox solar wireless backup camera and while it was the easiest to install I had issues with the image and the monitor so I went with this one. I didn't use the supplied T taps although I kind of wish I did since crimping connectors onto these high gauge skinny wires was challenging but not impossible. Works every time I put my truck in reverse and since I have a boat trailer thats all I needed. Image quality is very good as well.

Barion-Marin, Kerstin: Bisher nur getestet, im Fahrbetrieb noch ausstehend. Alle Teile vom Set funktionieren einwandfrei. Das Bild auf dem Monitor ist bei direkter Verbindung (im Testbetrieb) sehr gut. Insgesamt ein gutes System zu einem sehr fairen Preis.
Update im WLan-Betrieb/Fahrbetrieb folgt.
Sehr guter Antwortservice vom Hersteller bei direktem Kontakt.

So far only tested, still pending in driving operation. All parts of the set work perfectly. The picture on the monitor is very good with a direct connection (in test mode). All in all, a good system at a very fair price.
Update in WLan mode/driving mode to follow.
Very good response service from the manufacturer when contacted directly.

Chris Brokes: This camera is a dedicated backup camera. The screen is bright even in direct light. The camera refresh can be a little choppy, but this isn't a problem as long as you are backing up responsibly (i.e. at a reasonably slow speed).
Installation was relatively straight forward. By wiring it into the reverse lights, the camera powers on as soon as the car is put into reverse. Of course, on a car with a trunk or hatchback (where the plate is mounted on the trunk lid) this means that it is necessary to run the power cable across the back of the lid, around the hinge (usually with a bundle of manufacturer cables for stuff like the license plate light) and around to the wire bundle going to the rear lights on the near side. This isn't a particularly hard task but it can be tedious. Hook the camera into the appropriate wires, aim the camera (I suggest putting an easily noticeabe item a fixed disance from the rear of the car (probably 4-6 feet is fine) and then having a helper aim the camera until the item shows up at the desired spot in the backup gide lines.
(Note: Many cars can be put into reverse WHILE THE CAR IS OFF if you step on the break. This will power on the camera...
