Wayne Thomason: After trying several passive and amplified antenna options that touted up to 100 mile range and getting abysmal results from most and inadequate results from the best, I chose this because it advertised a near unbelievable/impossible 320 mile range (under perfectly ideal conditions, obviously).
Of all the antennas that I tried, including an 80+ mile range "herringbone" style YAGI antenna (indoors) that was about 4' long, this one topped them all. The YAGI antenna was actually the worst!
I have this antenna mounted in my master bedroom closet, right next to my Internet modem and my AirTV multi-tuner networked tuner. The signal is coming to the antenna through at least 2-3 other apartments since I'm on the opposite side of the building from the signal source. The antenna isn't even pointed in a direct line-of-sight direction toward the signal, which was much worse.
Results, most channels come in with only minor pixilation at times. Some other channels however are weak enough to be annoying with their freezing and pixilation. My situation is somewhat unique in that I'm in an urban apartment setting, about 35-40 miles from MOST of the transmission towers and on...

E.S.: Wouldn't, hook up to my older television. I found that it was cheaply made. The box was opened before I received it and the box was not in good condition. It looked they sent me someone else,s return. Not happy with it.

TN821: This system has a really long chord that allows you to place it in a better spot for working. I can receive many more channels because I can put it up high in the stairwell window further away from the TV. I'm glad I went with a longer range and better system!

G. PoventudG. Poventud: This item had absolutely zero range. Never picked up local channels and constantly looked pixelated. Horrible purchase. The best thing I ever did was take the mallet to it . It's just a paperweight that does absolutely nothing for any household. Steer clear and just save your money. I really wanted to like this but after giving it a few weeks it only led to a ton of frustration. Try missing the football game when an antenna is literally 1 mile away near a college campus. GARBAGE! I CANT SAY HOW STUPID I FEEL FOR EVEN SPENDING MY MONEY ON THIS. BETTER OFF IN MY GARBAGE CAN.

Webtubes: Functions okay...but certainly not as promised. This antenna doesn't pull in any more stations than my previous, much cheaper, antenna did. Wasn't worth the extra money.
