I wish that the mast could come on color white to match the Tempest weather station and the fascia where it was installed. I had to paint it.

FrustratedInClaremont: Seems sturdy once mounted; nice finish. But
1. Minimal instructions which did not match received hardware: instructions showed 2 bolts for mounting the adjustable post but 3 were supplied (and should be used). This was a thoughtful part of the design as using two bolts rather than one in that location helps prevent crushing while tightening as would happen with a single bolt.
2. The nuts and lag screws must have been metric. For instance, my 1/2" sockets (12.7mm) wouldn't fit the lag screw hex heads. Tried several. (Too much hot dip zinc? 13 or 14mm heads?). BUT this then highlighted a bad part of the design: the ears that receive the lag bolts are too close to the main body of the mount and the turned 90 degree gussets. As the lag screw's head gets close to the surface of the ears you can no longer keep an adjustable spanner on the lag screw's head as the gussets are in the way interfering. Especially a problem if it's a tight space like the upper part of the mount close to a rain gutter.... I basically couldn't finish installation until the next day when I could use a metric socket.
3. The other nuts seemed to be metric as well... at least...
