NormanDale: Supposed to be multi directional, but I found that the direction it is aiming seems to make a big difference for me. I think that the distance for reception is overstated.

Justin: I live in Southern nb in Canada, I have tried a few other antennas which barely worked being in a heavily wooded area, put this on the side of the house, pointed it in the direction of the towers and got the 3 channels that broadcast from our area no hesitation, definitely reccomend, but needs to be pointed in the right direction, I used the dtv antenna app from the Google store and is accurate enough to set this up

john Currie: I bought this for Montreal area and initially when I installed it outside (10 feet off the ground) I only picked up about 9-10 channels. I re-installed it in my attic which allowed me to increase the height by about 10 feet (20 feet above ground) and now I get 23 channels, 20 of which give me the strongest signal and clear picture.

Jeffrey A. Baldwin: I was using a miniature HDTV directional antenna with a built in rotor until it needed replacement. After searching for a replacement I found this antenna by pingbingding. 95% of my channels are located in the same direction (45 degree arc of center point) so I decided to try this design. I'm glad that I did. Although not a directional antenna I aimed it at the transmitter (Albany, NY, WTEN) which services ~ 50% of the channels in a 40 mile radius of my location. I did a channel scan and it pulled in 50 channels! The reception is crystal clear, HDTV. I feel that the reception surpasses the quality of my DirecTV. The best part is that I have 1 station that is on the back side of Albany, Utica, NY. This antenna is able to bring in WKTV on the backside without having to rotate the antenna. This is fantastic for my needs as they broadcast CBS which gives me an alternative for watching NFL Football (AFC). More options for seeing my Buffalo Bills play as WRGB - CBS from Albany usually broadcasts the NY Jets (if both teams are playing at the same time). Yes, and I don't have to rotate the antenna!

A word of caution. This antenna is not designed to receive FM...

Lalala: I am surrounded in the Los Angeles area by high rise buildings, two hospitals, heavily traffic streets, a fire station, etc. So needless to say I had major problems getting good signals even though they are all in one location and not too far away. I had an antenna which cost the same as this one, one of the flat sheet ones, it worked sometimes and not many channels came in consistently. So I upgraded to this wonderful antenna and it pulls in everything in super HD quality. They come in better than my cable. I got this because there are about 12 channels my cable provider does not carry and I really like because they carry a lot of old school shows and new series etc. Bottom line super easy to put together, I am a chick it was super easy, I scanned the code on the box and watched the video - easy as pie. Once up it took a bit of time to ensure the best location for it and angle. Also you can go online and view where your TV towers are so you can aim it properly. I am unable to mount this so I will now be purchasing a pole mount that just sits on my outside private balcony with no need to drill any holes or secure in that manner. It is held in place in...

Timothy B.: I have never given a 5 star rating to anyone or anything in my life. This antenna WA-2900-3D is worth a 10 star rating in my book. This is a long story. I grew up with only outdoor antennas that were half as long as the house. This one is kind of compact, really not noticeable. That made this antenna my choice. I also noticed that the reception was for a long range. I live in a "hole" between two mountains that makes AM radio difficult and FM almost impossible. Years ago I ended my service with my local cable provider because the cost was through the roof and went up every six months. I contacted Direct TV. They told me it would not work here. I contacted DISH, it does work here. I have no problems with DISH and I am very pleased with them. The problem. DISH local channels are 50 miles away from me. I wanted my "local" channels that are 15 miles way. DISH told me it was my zip code. No problem. This is what made me purchase this antenna, with a prayer it would work.
