Plenty of room for storage underneath. No squeaks or noise coming from it. Very sturdy. There is also no decals all over it like some others I have seen.

Ganesh Udhayasankar: I purchased this frame for my 8 inch thick and firm memory foam mattress and it has been one sturdy beast. The length however may not be suitable for anyone 5' 11" and above. The only teensy little concern I have is the velcro for the wooden slats. I have a feeling that they will wear off quickly if a person who moves around constantly while sleeping uses this frame.

The challenge also lay in assembling it on my own, but thankfully I was able to rest on the mattress carton (with the mattress still inside it) and assemble it. Else it is definitely not a one man job and the instruction sheet I received with it, was clear about this. If you are heavy and bulky, then I would suggest getting a good quality mattress that will enhance the sturdiness of the frame and you are ready to enjoy your sleep.

ANNE Strawn: Ok so I bought two of these for my teens. Well my daughter(17) put it together but one side wasn't drilled right and didn't line up... The slabs are held on with Velcro? This seems cheap and flimsy to me I hope this holds up for a couple years at least... I guess you get what you pay for... I also thought it came with a head board... I honestly would rather of had bought the metal one but we will see how good these hold up.

Tianah Maristela: I’m very happy with the quality of this affordable bed frame. I took someone’s recommendation in the reviews and bought some Loctite for the build (I would highly recommend doing this as well - the frame feels very sturdy and does not squeak at all). The instructions were clear and it was quick and easy for 1 person to build. I love the design, the height, that it’s lightweight, and that it has ample storage space underneath. Very much worth it - I feel like this is a steal for the quality!

Amazon Customer: I wish I could give this frame 5 stars but the instructions were HORRIBLE! It took about an hour and a half to put together with two people. The instructions have “letters” whereas the materials have “numbers”. We literally had to figure out every piece on our own! Very time consuming and frustrating. The manual is missing an ENTIRE STEP that we had to figure out on our own. Not only were there only numbers instead of letters, some of the pieces were MISLABELED with wrong numbers!!!!! It’s as if someone just stuck the numbers on any piece! On the flip side to the ridiculous instructions, the bed frame is very nice and STURDY.

Bu BurrBu Burr: Quand-même solide. Monté depuis 2 mois, il ne grince pas et il ne bouge pas. Le montage a été quelque peu compliqué. J’avais un lit énorme en bois massif et j’en avais assez de tout l’espace qu’il prenait donc celui-ci est beaucoup plus minimaliste et me laisse plus d’espace. J’ai éliminé mon sommier de 4 pouces et ce lit a quand-même la même hauteur que mon précédent, il est haut de pattes notez-le. En somme pour moi l’important est que ça ne couinne pas, que ça ne prenne pas de place et que ça ne bouge pas. Ce lit remplit donc mes 3 critères jusqu’à maintenant. Je viendrai éditer s’il y a quelque chose.

Smith: I got the full size frame for my college apartment and it has so far been very good. No complaints. It was rather easy to assemble, but a bit time consuming, taking about an hour or so. It is a bit smaller than the mattress I bought from a different brand, about 1/3 of an inch hanging off, but it's not noticeable to me. The non-slip sticker things on the panels don't really work but with my bed being up against 2 walls, I don't need them to.

AV old School: I like the bedframe, I have 12 inch thick top of the line , cool Breeze Temperpedic, mattress that I am using for this bedframe.

It fits great with this bedframe and sits high up which I really like for me because I am a 6 feet tall guy with a bad back. So this is perfect for me to get in and out of my bed. I also like that it can hold my weight because I am tall and heavy guy 260lb guy. This bedframe is nice and durable strong. Easy to put together and did not take very long 15mins for two people or 30mins for one person but would not recommend using one person, because you need one person to hold the other end of the frame while the second person screws in the other end.

The other strategy i started with the headboard first by putting it together with screws.

I went to screw in the long metal right Right side long metal frame screws into the right side of the headboard.

Talisgeir: First of all this is my second Zinus bed frame. I bought one a couple years ago and was absolutely so impressed by how well marked and well instructed the assembly information was. This has changed. The previous frame had every hole and every piece marked with a letter or a number. It went together so easy and so fast. This one, however, there was no markings on the pieces at all, only labels on a few of the connections. You have to figure how the pieces come together based on the shape in a very minimal graphic-only instructions. I could go on, but the big issue was that there was one piece at the headboard that should have been indicated that there was a direction to it, as neither the connectors #s, nor the graphics addessed this. This would not have been an issue had they marked it as well as they had the last Zinus bed frame that I purchased. Added about 30 minutes to undo, flip it, and reconnect. Took about 2 hours total to put together, one person. My previous frame went together in about half that because it was so well marked, no pondering about which part goes where. CathyCathy: I read all the reviews prior to purchasing this bedframe. As such, I was a bit hesitant to order it because of the negative reviews (I was concerned about wasting my money). After thinking about it for a few weeks I decided to risk it. Glad I did.

I put it together myself in about 20 minutes. All the pieces came in great shape, and the instructions were easy to follow. I then cut down my 4 inch twin memory foam mattress to a 31 inch width to fit, and laid down on it. Wow, was it ever comfortable and strong! I am a mature big beautiful woman, a back sleeper who weighs around 230 pounds--a person who moves around only a little bit when sleeping. I tested it out, moving around on my side too several times. It never creaked, sagged, or moved below me. That without removing the sticky tape to keep the mattress from moving. I'm hoping to post some photos here in the future.

Other things I like about it are, compared to other similar bed frames, that the slats are close together giving better support, the velcro keeps them in place doing their their job, it'll be easy to disassemble if I need to for storage, and that it's light weight.
