Cassy0104: My hubby and I very heavy weighted and we got 3 dogs between 30-100lbs who love to be on our bed. It’s been holding all our weights. Also if you have the issue that you pillows fall into the crack of the bed. It help raise the bed mattress and box spring up enough to prevent it happening.

Tara: It was hard to find just a bottom frame with no legs for my bed. I needed it to span between two shelves to support the mattress on top. After a few years now, it is still holding strong without any middle support. Really happy with this purchase (it also fits perfectly between the width of two industrial shelves from canadian tire. Match made in heaven ahaha). The ribbing doesnt pop out either which is nice. Its been previously hard to avoid mattress frames that arent the flex ribbing that pops out easily that you find at jysk and other such stores. These stay rigidly in place and hold up strong (granted my mattress weighs more than I do, but I'm not very graceful getting up onto it lol)

Anne M: The only reason I did not give all 5 stars is that it was a bit short by about less than an inche, which is no fault of the product but because my queen from ikea is huge than normal. I will have to get a solution for that but not important for now.

Ryan Robinson: I decided since we have started there process of downsizing, because we're finally empty nesting, and moving into a smaller apartment, I needed to make some unobtrusive storage solutions. I combined this with a set of beamnovs storage bed brackets and a couple add on legs. Nice afternoon project and now we have a ton more storage.
This bunkie board is easy to assemble and very sturdy. And in the event you need to modify it, the metal works easy.
This is tree second zinus product I've bought and I'm impressed with the company. I'd definitely but their products again.

Mark R.: When I read a previous review that said buyers who complained about the size did not measure accurately, I thought it was a bit presumptuous, since one can't know how other people measured. Thank you to a different reviewer who alerted me beforehand that the item is under-size. Nevertheless, it measures precisely as stated in the description, to the millimeter. So, what is the problem ? Well, I purchased a frame that is labelled as "full", otherwise known as "double". The advertised size of this product, in millimeters, equates to 74.0" x 53.0" wide, but the convention in North America is that "full/double" means 74" x 54 ". If the support brackets on your bed rails do not protrude far enough, the frame can slide to one side and fall off the other side. That is where the W.M.D.'s come into play. They are cleverly disguised as foam packaging, but if you stare at the ripples in the foam without blinking for about 30 minutes, you will be able to visualize the faint, raised lettering "Width Modification Device". By tightly wedging 4 pieces of foam between the purchased assembly and the bed structure, I was able to make it work.
It took me 45 minutes to assemble at a leisurely...

K. C.K. C.: Easy to put together on your own but you will have to be very careful and take precise measurements of your bedframe, particularly the width.
I thought this bunkie board was ideal for fitting into my full size (double) bedframe as I didn't want anything with legs. After reading a previous review which mentioned having to return this board because it didn't fit across the width of their bedframe I was a bit nervous about this fitting properly and I took careful measurements of both the length and width of my bedframe. I noted the measurements of this board were adequate to fit from side to side but with very little room to spare.
I ordered and received delivery the next day. Unfortunately, when I got it assembled and placed it on the bedframe, it was TOO NARROW to reach across my full size bedframe by approximately a half inch. When fitting something that is supposed to be made to fit exactly, fractions count! Because this is exactly what I'd feared might happen, I had a Plan B ready to go...I ziptied two planks of wood down the length of the bedframe on either side and set the bunkie board on top of the planks which gave me the extra width I needed to have the board...

puzzle player: I had a crappy wooden boxsprings for roughly five years. I'm extremely frugal and it took a lot of convincing for me to buy a new boxsprings. I found out about this, 'bunkie board,' and was imediately intrigued by how cost effective it was compared to traditional boxsprings- wooden slats break, but iron metal lasts forever.
I installed it myself in 45 minutes. It wasn't difficult at all, and I was pleasantly surprised the company sent spare parts and a mini ratchet to help with setup. It fit my queen bed, but after reading other reviews, I saved a few of my wooden slats in case I needed to use them (as flat wedges) if the bunkie board didn't align to my frame evenly.
After I placed the bunkie board under my mattress, I felt instant relief in my lower back area. Holy crap. I've been dealing with aches and back pain for years, and my bones haven't hurt since I used this bunkie board. I'm extremely happy knowing I don't have to swap out broken slats in the future, too.
EDIT: I was afraid I would lose storage space *underneath* my bed, thinking this board would hang lower than the frame somehow- but I actually gained 2 inches of space. That doesn't sound like a...

alina: Solid, easy to build. Would give this 5 stars but some small design issues. The sides are about 1 or 2 inches too short to fit in the bedframe perfectly (with a small gap of course). It does not fall off my standard metal bed frame, but if you have frame with lip that is tad short it could fall off. I used pieces of the foam packaging it came with to wedge in the gap so it won't slide around even an inch. The other issue is the gap between the rails will leave pretty sizable dents in your foam mattress on the bottom side. A tight cloth cover really should be added with this frame to stop this from happening. As such you could use pieces of cardboard or some thin plywood to cover the frame to avoid any uneven wear to the underside of the mattress. Once the mattress is on there is no movement to the base or sounds of squeaky metal. It comes with some sticky tape to help stop your mattress from sliding, but honestly you will likely need to buy some mattress stoppers or a foam anti-slide topper because there is zero friction so the mattress easily shifts off the frame each night.

Caitlin: I never write reviews but this was the easiest assembly I’ve ever done. We’ve only slept on it one night but it seems great. And seriously, nothing beats this assembly.
