Zinus Annemarie Solid Wood Bed Slats with Fabric-Covered Bunkie Board Support

T. South: My ZINUS fabric covered wood slats arrive in great condition, and was very easy to install. So far they work great. I bought it for my new Purple mattress, which requires a bedframe with slats less than 3 inches apart. The Zinus fabric covered slats fit the bill and as I mentioned previously has worked great. I would add that I like the choice of a mesh type fabric used to cover the slats, which should facilitate airflow around the mattress.

I was worried that with repeated bouncing (ahem) there would be some noise, but there isn’t and it supports my queen size Tempur-pedic mattress perfectly

Verified purchaser: Well sewn between the wooden platts, true to size, arrived clean and new, solves a problem- new mattress won’t sink into underlying bed frame open areas or get underside rips. For mattress integrity, worth considering this brand. Purchased in queen.

Suhail Babwani: We purchased it as a replacement for box spring. We are happy with the purchase. It does what is made for. The only thing I would like to mention is the we need to adjust it once in a month or 2 to make sure the bed stays in place. Overall great product for once who wants to save some money. It is good for those who wants flexibility when moving from one place to another as it's very easy to transport.

I give 4 stars instead of 5 stars because it comes in 2 different pieces, one for each side of the bed and it tents to slide just on one side.

KBKB: Our bed has a built-in foundation that’s starting to sag, although we don’t want to replace it entirely yet, nor do we want an unbreathable layer of plywood.

Got these slats which do a good job providing firmer support—I even fall asleep faster now with less neck and back pain.

Wish the dimensions were listed on the product description, although the packaging indicates a length of 78.9”. It’s a perfect fit for our mattress, although oddly our foundation is about an inch too short for both the slats and mattress—thankfully it doesn’t overhang much. Also a little on the wide side, but it’s easy to adjust the slats closer together.

I feel comfortable recommending these!

Alfonso: I have a queen memory foam mattress and bought a bed frame with only 3 slats. I researched online what box spring I should buy for a memory mattress and bunkie boards started to look like a better alternative for my kind of mattress. I bought this bunkie board to add extra support and now my bed is perfect. It’s no longer sagging, I don’t wake up with neck pain and I love that the boards are covered in fabric so that the mattress can breathe underneath. The wooden slats don’t feel that sturdy but once we laid them on the bed frame and got the bed on top the boards gave the bed the perfect bit of height and support and I don’t feel any shifting just yet. I’ve only had this bunkie board for a few days now and we get in and out of bed carefully just to be safe but here’s to hoping this is a long term solution for my bed!

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I purchased this to add support to my metal frame queen sized bed. The support that came with the bed was useless. There are 5 metal bars that run widthwise, with very flimsy boards between them. (See photo) These boards would bow, or even slide off the metal bars, leaving the mattress unsupported. These support slats are a perfect solution. I would caution anyone who does not have multiple cross supports. The long pieces of wood in this product would likely buckle.
