WaxmaWaxma: We have a vehicle that doesn’t have rear view camera, neither multimedia system, so we’re upgrading it. Everything needed to connect it is included, along with clear instructions.
I wanted a better backup cam than the one included within the multimedia kit. This YANEES daytime image is clear and wide. The night mode is not too grainy either, which is nice.

Another Bored Consumer: I was expecting a basic reverse camera but instead there was so many extra accessories inlcuded with this kit. This can be used in different situations and the adjustable camera holder is really nice to see, and is manufacturered very well. This allows adjustment as every car is different, and not everyone puts the reverse camera in the same place, this one sits inside my vehicle.
The video feed itself is decently clear for a camera that is not specified, it says HD but its not 1080p for sure. Likely 720p extrapolated? But for reverse parking, this type of camera is all that is needed. At night time, its not great unless there is a decent amount of light, which is understandable. This camera with just tail lights on (red), its very hard to see, but once the reverse (white) lights are turned on, it is much better.
The extra accessories like the power cables, extra screws, adhesive, electrical tape, ziptie, and power filter. The power filter I wasn't sure what it was, but found that its for german and some American vehicles that cause flickering.

Nehodin: Great backup camera with high picture quality. I bought it as a replacement for my previous camera with 4 pin connector and I was surprised that I connected only the camera to my old wires. One more aspect that I like to mention, that this product comes with a 12V DC relay capacitor rectifier, which helps to avoid waves from my screen (I noticed that this usually happens on German cars, so this filter is very helpful). Overall I'm satisfied and would recommend to my friends

JCH: On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate the product 10+ and the customer service and professionalism on that same scale, an 11.
I believe I bought the best product available for my circumstances with the inexpensive cost a bonus. Before I even purchased the unit, I had received the answers to questions I had about the product directly from Andrii.
This camera has an unbelievable low light capture capability, so much so that there has never been a situation I have been in where additional light was required to see clearly. I am very impressed with this particular feature of the camera.
This camera was installed in a high top conversion van and the camera came with plenty of wire length to complete the installation, hiding all the cable, and still leaving plenty of cable left to attach to a new receiver that was also installed.
There is always room for improvement for almost any product, and for this particular camera I would recommend that the instructions clearly state which way to install the camera so that the image will be facing in the correct orientation (up versus down).
Also, the kid would benefit from having a additional 4 to 5 feet of black...

Texan99109: Update: been using camera for a month. You get used to the perspective. Picture quality is excellent. Still would prefer less panoramic optics but it will do. The benefit is that you do see cross traffic in a parking lot behind you. Origioanl review: So the picture quality is good and the camera seems well made out of the box, but the wide angle makes it petty much useless as a backup camera. At 12 inches from an object it looks like you’re still a few feet away. The grid lines are fairly useless; in the “green” zone you are already making contact! I’m sure that you can eventually get used to using it without actually hitting stuff but it would have been very easy for the manufacturer to make the optics of the camera more like the OEM backup camera optics. Last but not least the way the camera is hinged if you mount it on a vertical surface you can’t get the the camera tilted to the right angle. Capturing the view of the bumper would at least allow you to guage distance of the bumper to the object you are trying to avoid hitting. Since I mounted the camera by drilling holes in my tail gate, I’m out of luck now and I’m not going to be repositioning the bracket.

D. Wong: install was easy. I wanted a clean look so I ran the wire behind the car panels to my headunit which had a video input. The video wire was a little short so I had to buy another video wire with trigger cable with a female and a male end. Connected the two video cables and taped it up just so it won't come loose and I spliced the two trigger wires together. This was for a 2006 Honda Odyssey. I think the company should include a 32 foot cable instead of a 20 foot cable in the future. Did all the connections and did a test run before putting everything back neatly. The image during a sunny day was clean and clear. I need to find some parking lines to adjust the camera and it's built-in parking lines. I can't comment on what the night-vision looks like but will edit this review when I do see it in action. My second suggestion was to improve the mount or provide alternate mounts for a vertical install versus a horizontal install. My Odyssey's trunk release lever is right above the license plate and so I couldn't install it there. I had to jerry-rig a bracket and attach it lower and then mount the camera. Plus, I used my own stainless steel sheet metal screws. I didn't think the small...

RobertRobert: Install was fairly easy and took about two and a half hours to run the RCA cable, mount the camera, and solder in the wires. I did have to buy an additional 20' of RCA cable with the red power wire and an RCA coupler for our 18-19' long van. The hardest part was running the RCA through the rear door of the van, which was more time consuming than difficult. Used some thin safety wire and ran it through the narrow passages, then tapped the RCA to the wire and pulled it through. If there is any confusion about the red wire on the RCA, it acts as a remote lead to turn on the camera function on the monitor/head unit. On the monitor/head unit, the red wire connects to the reverse monitoring wire so the monitor automatically switches to the camera when you put the vehicle in reverse. Without this connection, you would have to manually switch the monitor/head unit to the camera. The RCA supplies the video feed. At the camera end of the RCA cable, connect the red wire (that is part of the RCA cable) to the red wire on the other connector for the camera. The "other" connector on the camera side needs power and ground. That connector consists of a red and black wire, run those wires to your...

Rob: This backup camera works pretty well. It is plug and play (into my eonon system) and I can see the backup camera pretty well. In terms of quality, it's decent throughout the day but lacks a bit at night but its better than no camera so I don't mind too much personally. It also came with a ton of extra things that made it easier to install the camera.
Overll, good price for a good camera.
