Diane L.: We have a new trailer pre-equipped for Furrion camera system however Furrion is very expensive. We bought this 2 camera system, installed and works great. Couple things to mention, we somehow flipped the screen so the menu was upside down and backwards, if this happens to you, press and hold the long left arrow (not in documentation). The vender was super helpful and responded to every question. The only caution I have is if you use a camera in the side of the trailer as a blind spot navigator, you cannot turn the camera eye 90 degrees as the camera has to be installed sideways. Maybe next generation. Way cheaper than full on Furrionand does the trick

AmazonNickAmazonNick: The cameras and screen were very easy to install. The menu is pretty intuitive. The only thing to be aware of is you cannot get into the menu if you are on the split camera view. Very happy with the system. We are using one camera on the car being towed and the other camera further back facing for traffic.

Amazon Customer: Totally brilliant. I have a 7m motorhome and use this like a rear view mirror as well as reversing so I actually have two cameras. I could have just used one but it would mean the view would start a couple of meters from my bumper to get a good view right up the road.
The cameras are excellent as is the monitor. Quality units that work excellently. So pleased I purchased these before my last trip. I’ve been using them the last two months all over Europe in night and day. Seldom is there much lag and the picture quality is great.
I fitted the two cameras side by side where I had removed my previous wired cameras. I used the internal lighting power feed and added an on/off switch to isolate the power. For the monitor I also added an on/off switch as unless you use the cigarette lighter you can’t turn the monitor off and I wanted to wire the monitor in. The on/off switch’s were both hidden but easy to access. The switches cheap and instillation of all easy and kind off fun.
However you choose to use/install these products they are excellent. I also emailed the company about the monitor not turning off and the got back to be with support right away and it all made sense...

Neil: We bought the two camera system for our 22' trailer so we could have a back up camera and a rear view camera. Both cameras worked right out of the box. We wired it into the trailer batteries on/off switch so that we don't need to turn on the tow vehicle's lights to turn on the cameras. Also added a sperate on/off switch just for the cameras. This allows us to use the cameras for surveillance at the campsite if we want, or just turn the cameras off. Installation was a bit more involved than suggested, but that's on me because of the wiring job.

We haven't had the trailer out yet so I can't comment on how it works on the road. But we should in a couple of weeks. So far though, it works good in the driveway.

J. JarrettJ. Jarrett: Furrion instructions aren't in video or manual. Hope this helps someone. 1. Do NOT remove Furrion mount on RV (can't reinstall screws w/camera on it.) 2. Test-fit the included Furrion bracket on your mount. 3. Flip camera in its mount so sun lip will be on top. 4. Optional - test to make sure you are installing camera #1 (I didn't but changing channels is easy.) 5. Install rubber piece in middle hole of camera mount only (good luck!) 6. Install Furrion bracket on camera bracket w/4 screws, nuts out, and tighten good so don't jiggle off on road. 7. Connect wires and stuff in Furrion mount - tight fit. 8. Install Furrion bracket w/camera on Furrion RV mount w/4 new tiny screws. Use an included wood screw if a tiny screw strips out. Took me way more than 15 minutes but might not have if I hadn't removed Furrion RV mount from RV. Screen image is awesome and my 55 year old eyes can see clearly on the 7" monitor - that Furrion monitor was almost worthless to me. Mounting 2nd camera on my fishfinder battery box so I can put it where I park it and make sure I don't hit the guy next to me (real reason I bought this, such a tight spot, but glad to get a backup camera super-upgrade for such...

Bri: Easy to setup, excellent signal strength anyplace on our class A RV. Sharp, clear display, minimal lag. I find the screen too small for multiple camera display modes. Not impressed with night vision but I have no experience with other systems for comparison. Cameras seem very solid, but I had 2 failures first year. Support was excellent, a few back and forth emails to verify issues, then quickly shipped out replacements. So far I rate this system very good value based on good performance at a low price point, and great support. Reliability is yet to be proved.

Michael w.: Received my backup camera the very next day, installed it within 1 hr off receiving the camera, both cameras are heavy and big but good quality, I would have liked smaller cameras as I was fitting to my car, these are more suited to a lorry or large RV, the other thing I would have liked if the Ariel’s where able to point straight as well as 90 degrees angle, the ones supplied are only 90 degrees, overall a great piece of kit and would recommend this backup camera and monitor, I would like purchase a third camera but cannot find a contact email maybe somebody could send me the contact details. LowellLowell: The media could not be loaded.  I researched wired and wireless cameras to use when towing my 42 foot fifth-wheel. The trailer was prewired for a Furrion wireless camera and Ford, the truck manufacturer offered a wired camera system.

Let me pause the review for a moment to explain, I am a military trained radio technician who worked in emergency communication systems for a couple of decades and finished my carrier working on medical camera systems. So I have a better than average understanding of how these systems are supposed to function. When I talk about what I did and why I did things, you can take it as professional advice. Perhaps this review can help others avoid some of the problems described in the less favorable reviews. Now back to the review…
