GCTGCT: Starlink is my ISP and instead of using their supplied ground base or purchasing one of their mounts, I used this to mount my antenna to an eave on my house where it has an unobstructed view of the sky. The antenna dropped right into the end of the tube without any issues and it stays put. The mount is sturdy and has enough adjustment to get the antenna away from the roof line to allow it to adjust for the best signal.

TrayleeTraylee: For a Starlink rectangular dish, you NEED to make adjustments to the dish post in order to get a tight fit. Used foam tape plus added electrical tape for security. Also the mount plate didn’t fit the fascia (didn’t want to place on shingles) so had to place it on plywood. Made it work with a few extra steps. This is the one Starlink has listed as a recommended mount too.

Dave S.Dave S.: With the plastic adaptor I also bought on Amazon my rectangular Starlink antenna snapped right in and had plenty of clearance to auto-find the best satellite to connect to. I had already verified where the antenna was going to auto-position itself, so I didn't need a 100% clear view of the sky. I opted for a strong mounting point (we often have really high winds here) over a weaker mount point that had a full view of the sky. Whether you buy the plastic insert or not, you'll have to secure the antenna from spinning in the antenna mount tube. 2 or 3 self tapping sheet metal screws should easily do that job for you.

JAM: Some have claimed that this mount does not provide a tight fit for a rectangular starlink unit. That is true if what one expects is that the mount provides the same insertion fit and 'button' locking you get from a standard starlink mount. It does not do that. But the internal diameter of the mount is 1.52" and the starlink's shaft's largest diameter (beyond the reduced-diameter starlink-specific mount area) is 1.5". Wrapping some electrician's tape around the 1.5"" diameter area of the starlink unit might be enough to get a tight fit. But better, I think, is using a 1.25" flexible pipe connector (1.25", not 1.5", because the outside diameter of 1.25" internal diameter pipe (metal, ABS, etc.) is approximately 1.5") provides a waterproof and more stable solution. Put the pipe connector on the mount shaft, leaving about an inch of rubber (actually black flexible PVC) for the starlink shaft and push the shaft into the mount about 2", thereby placing about an inch of the 1.5" shaft in the mount. You could even wrap tape around the shaft too. Tighten both clamps. Be sure, of course, to put the starlink cable through the bottom of the mount and insert it in the starlink unit before...

Lisa Isakson: The height of the mounting area is quite long and wouldn't quite fit on our rood soffit board but two big lag bolts was plenty to hold it securely. Starlink slides into it easily with minor modifications using duct tape to widen fatten up the tube. Then I used a few wraps of electrical tape to hold it from sliding down further since the Starlink wire will get pushed if you don't keep it secure fastened to the mount. This worked fine.

John: what I like about this arm is the greater reach the longer arm provides. easy to install.
what I do not like is that it does not provide enough room to run the cable at the base, (I have It Mounted on my sloped Roof). I had to grind a half moon at the bottom of the tube.
Also, the inside diameter was a bit too big for StarLinks Dishy McDish...so I used my McGyver Skills and made it work.

Simon Peartree: Worked well. Had to shorten mine a bit, but it worked well for my 2nd gen starlink dish. Added a few extra self tapping screws to stiffen it all up.
