SMLE Mark 4: I got this antenna because I was tired of Sat. based TV and their overblown fee.
However, it turned out the same issue we had 25 years ago still remains even with advance of technology; We are in a natural valley hence reception had always been bad. During the rabbit ears days we barely got a signal until we have an out door UHF antenna.
So I now have one more piece of essentially useless item from Amazon. because I just test the unit tonight and it was a month out from the return date and can't return this thing.

Eileen Green: With antenna I get 225 channels. In addition I get local channels. After I relocated the antenna to the window I was able to pull in the Sunday football games clearly with just a little interference. I signed up to Peacock for $5. Per month to watch the Sunday evening football games. One potential problem you might encounter is that the USB cable and the cable in to TV is to short. I ordered a 20 ft. USB extension cable from Amazon and everything works great. TV picture is excellent.

Raquel Rios: I purchased this to try and switch from cable to the regular channels. We were looking for something more inexpensive to use and wow were we pleasantly surprised! It is so easy to install! Worked right away and so far have hundreds of free channels!!! We will be cutting the cable cord now and I will recommend to anyone who wants to go that route! Love it!

Jeanne: Optimum decided to encrypt the broadcast basic channels, for which they said we needed to add 2 more boxes at $11/month each. 1 box on our main television suits us fine; the extra televisions are 1 in bedroom & 1 rec room that we have a Fire TV box connected to with the apps for our frequently watched premium channels. The only other alternative choice from them were their DTA boxes at $5/month each; that was their non-advertised cost saving-type answer. The problem with that was in order to use those DTA boxes you had to pay an $80 service call for them to upgrade your service to Altice! I ordered this antenna, placed it in our bedroom (higher and more direct tower direction than our rec room); received almost 60 clear channels (central New Jersey). I then used a reverse run of our cable wire which stemmed from the rec room and connected the end to that television. I placed a powered amplifier with multiple outputs in the bedroom with the output from this antenna serving as the input to the amplifier. Scanned the rec room television and received about 55 clear channels on that television . Some channels are “flaky “ on both televisions and don’t always want to come in...
