Dawn Leigh Werenka: Due to health issues I’m looking to eat cleaner meals. These recipes incorporate healthy foods (mostly) with new spices and seasonings that I can’t wait try! Usually I buy a cookbook and have a few recipes I want to try. Over 75% of this book I will be trying. I also ordered another cookbook from her, can’t wait for it to arrive!

Sheilina: As someone who has much admired all that Padma Lakshmi has achieved personally and professionally, I was excited to purchase/use this book. It was disappointing to find that few of the recipes were suprising or insightful. The dessert section was particularly disappointing due to the limited selection - focussing upon ice creams and crumbles... little creativity or inspiration. I suspect this is a book that will stay on the shelf more than it's ever going to be used.

QueenoftheAmazon: I bought this after checking it out from the library because i made a few of the recipes and knew that I wanted to make everything in here! The date chutney hot sauce recipe alone is worth owning this!

John Smith: Book is ok if you like Asian cooking. Asian cooking requires too much ingredients. I am not so into it. However, it is good to try from time to time.

J. Allen: This is the "go to" cookbook in my kitchen. I've made recipes from every section of the book, many several times over and have taken the liberty to experiment with different meats (i.e. the Pan Asian Curried Beef recipe I've made with ground lamb, beef, buffalo, etc.)These recipes have tested the palates of my friends and pushed my culinary skills to new levels while at the same time relatively easy to understand and achieve great results. Love the fact that most recipes are loaded with flavor, but not so much on the calories!!! And yes, some of the ingredients are difficult to find, though a quick order online and a few visits to specialty markets will do the trick. Too many great recipes to list suffice it to say, I'm not the greatest cook but I feel like a culinary goddess with this cookbook by my side.
