Not worth the money the are selling for. You will be paying for the design. This does not cool a room not even a room the is 150sqft. This is really sad. When you put the fan on high it blows outward missing you completely. Even when rotating the fan you will never feel the maximum cool that a regular fan give you. This is jus a fancy big block of nothing. When it is on medium you have a better chance of feeling the air but not to you liking. Putting the fan on low does nothing. You can close all the windows in the room to try and cool the room but you will only sweat and get hotter. this is seriously a waste of money. The 2 freezer packs that are given to you does not even help cool the water enough for you to enjoy the air. It got so bad that the 2nd day i ended up getting sick because of this fan. I had it a distance from me and the next morning I woke up sneezing really bad. Im not too sure if maybe it was something in the fan that had to get cleaned before use. I sneezed so bad that it damaged my nose. I was bleeding through my nose, i ended up getting a headache so bad i had to force myself to sleep, third day it was followed by a cough. I tried...

SnowHippo: I have a bedroom that doesn't have air conditioning and I was looking for an economic way to cool it. This didn't have any reviews when I bought it, but I thought I'd give it a try. I love the digital display, which goes away after a while so the light doesn't keep you up. It makes it easy to see the room temperature. It also made it easy to see this did not work. I used refrigerated water with ice packs to get the optimal cool. It did feel cooler if I was sitting directly in front of the unit. But I bought it to cool a bedroom, not just a person. It was quiet, but the fan design made it so that no air was blowing directly on you, but around you - like your head and feet. If you laid in bed it hit under the bed and over your body so you couldn't get any cooling. I even tried the oscillation and that didn't do anything. I'm terribly disappointed so I'm going to return this for a refund.
UPDATE - I received an apology from the company and an offer of $50 if I will remove my review (at least that is the way it sounds). I feel these reviews are important for buyers to see what they are really getting and I will not be removing my review or changing my rating.

Wade: I like that it's quiet and lightweight.
But the amount of air it pushes around is nowhere near other fans at a similar price point. I don't understand what the "modes" are and the manual doesn't elaborate. There's a pine tree, a moon and stars, and finally, wavy wind lines. I'm by no means a genius, but it seems like I should at least be able to understand what these mean. At what point wouldn't you want the windy lines setting on a fan? I guess when you're in a forest, or under the stars, but NOT AT THE SAME TIME. I'm so confused by this it is going to cost me sleep. If anybody could shed some light on this, please let me know, day or night.
Also, the fan doesn't oscillate. Not that it is advertised to do so, but that's what I thought it was implying. The front screen just spins. I don't know for what purpose. I guess maybe it spreads the breeze around a little, but it doesn't seem to matter much. It is fun to look at though.
I think it's a three star fan, it'd probably be five star at half the price.
So, you know, I feel like a Vornado would be a better purchase at this price. I don't work for them or anything, my old roommate had one and that thing...

YVG112174: The media could not be loaded. I'm in a section of the house where it's really hot in the summer and really cold in the winter. I bought this fan to help the other fan circulate the air of my window air conditioner. I really love how it feels when I need it to blow almost directly on me at night when I am sleeping. It's sometimes so quiet that if it is accidentally turned off, I don't notice. If I have any cons to add about it I would say the temperature gauge seems to me to be inaccurate. There have been some nights where I have had to turn off both fans because it was really cool, but fan will still register that it's 95 degrees when I'm sure it's not. In the daytime when we've had record high weather, it still stays at 95 degrees so that should be tweaked a bit but otherwise, it's a great, lightweight fan with a convenient, easy to use remote control, and a cozy oscillating grill that circulates the air very nicely and gives off a very soothing airflow that makes you calm before falling asleep. I always keep the fan on high and even at that it is not loud enough to drown out the sound of the television like past fans I've purchased. I highly recommend this fan!

Ashley: I still use this as a basic fan after a year. However, I got it in the heat of the summer. It worked well for a few days and then the bottom kept leaking. I don't use it with the water cooling system any longer. Also the rotator stopped working and makes loud clicking noises. I'm a very handy person and I took the whole thing apart. It's just cheaply made. The fan still works. But the special functions broke down pretty quickly after very basic use in one summer season.
