KBos: The media could not be loaded. If you want to be immediately pissed off, buy this one. I thought I was ordering the one with the removable water reservoir but when it came I was shocked to find this one with this tiny trap door that immediately fell in on itself and was awkward to fish out and is always difficult to close. Due to the frequency in which ice and water must be replenished, the access very inconvenient. The design is flawed in addition because it leaves a lot of standing water at the bottom below the pump and there is no easy way to clean the inside. After two weeks it was getting slimy, much longer and it would have been spewing moldy swamp air and not very cold air at that. So I dried it out completely using the drain and towels and have been using it as a fan for which it does a decent job, as long as you don’t use one of the breeze modes which are just weird.

Maggiem90: The fan was easy to install and the remote control is a great accessory knowing you can control the fan buttons straight from your bed or sofa! I put ice and cold water to see the difference in blowing cool air but honestly it is just a fan. I can slightly feel the difference but not much.

Scott: This worked like a regular fan, if you are in front of it, it blew cool air. It didn't change room temperature for me. Also, there are some design issues for me - the opening for the water/ice is pretty small if you have bigger hands, it was difficult to get the ice packs out of the small opening and the lid kept falling into the water bin. Adding water was challenging because the water bin opening is flat vertical so to get water in I had to tilt it forward, but because there is no way to see the fill line I had to put it down look at the front then tilt and repeat. -- I really wanted to like this, the units that require vents or windows are such a pain.
