Michael L KitchenMichael L Kitchen: Hub was up and running in 90 seconds after a very quick install. The cable is way too short though, it is only 3-4 inches long. This will be an issue if your USB port isn't flat on your desk. With My 2 in 1 computer, the USB port sits about 2.5 inches above my desktop, so the hub is up in the air and not sitting flat. Will need a short adapter for it to be useable in my situation.

Marty B: My three year old laptop only has one USB3 port, (and only two USB2 ports) so when I need more room, I have to use a hub. That hub is too large to travel with, and is hidden behind a monitor, so it's not really convenient.

This TP-Link hub allows me to plug in more devices, and is quite small and accessible. However, the size of the ports is quite small - it is really a tight fit to insert most USB devices. You almost think that you're inserting the cable the wrong way! And the cable is maybe two inches long, so the hub is right on top of the pc. It's convenient when traveling, because the cable wraps around the hub, but that's where the convenience ends.

Chuck Lentine: You can never have to many USB slots. This 3.0 hub is priced like a 2.0 hub but it handles faster devices. I have two of them and I use them all the time. They also save wear and tear on your computer's USB ports. I don't know about you but I have a lot more trouble using 3.0 ports verses 2.0 ports. So I like NOT having to plug and unplug devices in my computer slots. It's much easier to plug an unplug into them into the hub slots. Plus if I damage the hub slot it's easy to replace but the computer slot is a different situation. I'd just as soon not wear and/or damage the computer slots.

JARELLANOJARELLANO: Small but powerful. There are many brands out there so I have chosen a very recognized brand. This device is small, portable and works perfectly. I use it on my laptop and even when I have attached my 2.4GHz trackball and keyboard, I do not experience any issues with the connection! Has one small LED to indicate if the port is active. I used on a laptop with Win 10 Pro and is really plug and play, no drivers need to be installed. I aso attached my printer and an external HDD: excellent performance and this hub was transparent to my computer! Keep in mind the cable is not very long, I have added a penny for reference. Anyways, gets the job done. Please give a chance to this little great product.
