A customer in Los Angeles: I bought this hub to use with my iPad Pro and it does what it is advertised to do. Unfortunately, I failed to note that its USB-C port is for power only. Thus, you cannot connect a headphone or external speakers to the iPad Pro while using the hub. If you want audio in your ears, you will have to use AirPods. Yes, that's on me and I should have been paying attention. QGeeM does make two hubs with 3.5-mm audio jacks but are unavailable at this time. In retrospect, I should have bought an NXPGKEA 7in1 USB C Hub as it includes a USB-C data port and the 3.5-mm jack, which also supports a microphone. The draw back is that its physical design makes it iPad Pro-centric and you might have to get a USB-C male-to-female extension cable if you want to use it with, for example, laptops. If this adapter breaks (as some have reported), I will replace it with an NXPGKEA.

Holyforge: I loved this product at first since it filled all my needs. It's portable, non-obtrusive and had enough ports for me. However, in about a year one of the USB ports had died in each (I bought two). I confirmed this by plugging in different peripherals, and nothing. So the reason I bought these in the 1st place is out the window.

JulieJulie: I deluded myself into thinking this dongle had a ethernet port but sadly it does not. Luckily I was still able to put it to use through the USB ports. It is flexible and works well. I recommend (except if you need an ethernet port)!

Paul: Ich habe mir den USB-C HUB im August 2020 gekauft. Er hat über die Jahre echt gute Arbeit gemacht, hatte ihn aber nicht super oft in Verwendung, aber wenn ich ihn genutzt habe, dann wurden fast alle Ports belegt und diese haben auch super funktioniert.
Die Verarbeitung ist echt in Ordnung und die Größe, kombiniert mit dem Gewicht ist auch sehr gut!
Leider muss ich nun einen Punkt abziehen, da er nach 2 1/2 Jahren schon kaputt gegangen ist, weswegen er jetzt leider schon zum Elektroschrott wandern muss.

ChrisBristolChrisBristol: Hi, I recently purchased the QGeeM USB-C 7port multifunctional converter from Amazon.com.

Product arrived next day, safely packaged in a snug, foam and cardboard box with one simple instruction sheet with a diagram showing connections.

The device is very light and compact 10cm x 4.5cm x 1.5 cm so easy to transport. As mentioned in advert it does NOT come with a power adapter so you need to have a mains adapter with a USB-C adapter on one end to provide power to the device. This mains lead allows other devices to be powered or charged through the converter, e.g. a USB HDD without its own power will be readable.

I bought this adapter primarily to work with new iPad Pro 12.9 inch 2020 device in order to connect old MacBook Pro HDD and SDD I extracted from damaged MBP. I needed to read these drives directly on iPad. I am pleased to say it works.

The HDD and SDD have SATA connectors and I already had a SuperDrive SATA to USB lead so wanted to plug the USB end into an adapter and connect to iPAD without need of power to HDD / SDD - this device does that no problem.

Of note this only works when QGeeM converter is powered by mains adapter (mains to USB-C...
